“You can go back to the kids, Samantha…” Dominic whispered to me as he tucked my hair behind my ear. His soft, hazel eyes looked silver under the pale moonlight. “I know you are worried about the kids and this journey to that valley is dangerous. We don’t know how strong that giant wolf is.”

Dominic’s phone chimed again and he took it from the pocket of his jeans, expecting Liam to update him about what was happening in the pack manor and if the kids, especially Devon, were in their room, sleeping. But as he stared at his phone's screen, puzzled by whatever was on it, his brows deepened.

Killian had already snatched the phone from Dominic’s hand before I could even ask my husband whatever it was that he saw. Killian’s brows raised in surprise and then frowned as if trying to comprehend whatever it was. He even angled the thing to get a better look at it.

“What is it, Killian?” I asked a little impatiently and he gave me the phone
