NEW GIRL ON THE BLOCK

~BEAU POV~

It's been a long months for me, but I can do it!

Our class was having a meeting for the upcoming event which is Halloween and each class needs to come up with something to present. It's either a costume café, haunted house, ghost hunt, ghost tour and etc., we just need to follow the theme so we can create a budget for it.

Keith was the class representative stood in front with our class secretary May to collect some suggestions of our classmates. While me and Pawell just listened to them.

"Neeeee~ I suggest that we make a costume café, so that the girls can make their cute outfits and it can attract more customers" June suggest with a big grin to his face.

"But if we choose that we need more budget for the food and refreshments that need to be serve" Milly said while frowning

"Yes, I agree to Milly that it cost too much and also the costumes" Brian agreed

"Aww, so we don't have that enough budget, so what should we do?" June asked

"Maybe we can create a simple hunted maze, we can just close the windows, and the boys would put some different kinds of costumes, maybe some old clothes will do and they would hunt the customers, the girls would put some make ups to the guys" Nica suggest

"I like that, because the boys could run fast than the girls to hunt the costumers" Apples said

"And after they run to the exit, we can offer them some refreshments! It can double up our income" Crystal claps with her idea.

"So over all we will create a hunted maze with a refreshment outside, okay raised your hands if you agree to the idea" May said and we raised our hands so she can count the votes and majority wins, we will create a hunted maze with refreshments outside.

We just finished our meeting when our teacher arrives and she introduce a new transfer student.

"Good morning class, I would like to introduce your new classmate. I hope you help her to adjust in our school" Our teacher said and gesture the transfer student to get inside.

As the transfer student came in we all gasp, she was beautiful. I can hear the girls also gasp.

"Oi~Kitty, she was beautiful" I whisper to him

"Yeah, she's kinda cute, what do you think Pha?" he agreed to me and ask Pawell, but when we looked at Pawell he was stunned. I shook him so he will be back to his mind.

"Huh?! what happen?" he asked us.

"Dude! your entranced to her beauty!" I whisper to him and he just shrugged his shoulders. and we heard the transfer student introduce herself.

"Good morning, I'm Janella Lee, but you can call me Jane, I got to transfer here because of my father's work. I hope we can be friends" she said with a smile.

"Okay Ms. Jane, you can take the sit beside Mr. Keith our class representative. Keith kindly assist her so she can adjust" our teacher announced and Keith just nod. I nudge Keith and he look at me.

"She was coming" I whisper to him.

"I know stop exaggerating Beau" Keith whisper back at me

When the transfer student was near to us, Keith and I wave our hands and smile at her while Pawell was stunned again. But what she did amaze me and Keith, she just smirk and ignore us and take her seat.

"What the?! What happen?!" Keith whisper to me

"I don't know" I answer him and we just look at each other with a question in our mind.

We just ignore what she did and we just focus on our class. The bell rings indicating it's lunch already.

"Pha, Kit let's go" I said to them and we all went to the canteen and order our food as we ate our lunch Keith ask about the new transfer student.

"Do we offend her by our gesture earlier that she ignore us?" Keith started

"What are you talking about guys? What gesture?" Pawell asked as if he was not there earlier

"The new transfer student just ignore Keith and I, when we wave our hand and smile at her" I answer him

"Oh?! really? maybe she was just shy, because she just ask me if she can copy my notes" Pawell said to us while chewing his food.

"Oh, when is that?" Keith asked

"During the first break time earlier, when you submit the papers for the hunted maze, and the usual Beau was sleeping on his desk" Pawell answered

"Ow, maybe she was just shy that's she ignore us" Keith said and I just nod and finished my food and we all go back to class.

After class, Keith asked us if we can help him to do some canvassing for the upcoming event and we agree to his plan, but when were almost out of the room the transfer student asked Pawell.

"uhm, excuse me, Pawell you said earlier that you will help me with the notes" Jane said

"oww, really? I said that?" Pawell was confused as he looked at us.

"uhm, maybe you can help her, it's just canvassing me and Beau can handle it" Keith smiled to them.

"okay, I accompany Keith and you help her. Bye see you tomorrow" I said to them

"Bye, see you tomorrow" Pawell said and we leave them.

~KEITHSON POV~

It's been a week since we start canvassing and Pawell didn't help at all. We are strolling at the mall, looking for the different things we needed for the event.

"Hey Beau, what do you think about the transfer student?" I ask him

"What do you mean Keith?" Beau said to me

"Do you think she has a crush on Pawell?" I curiously asked

"woah Kitty! by your tone I can presume that you are jealous? Do you have a crush on Jane?" Beau teases me

"No, I am not jealous and I don't have a crush on her" I said to him and smack his head.

"Ouch! stop that, so if you don't have a crush on her, what is your problem?" Beau asked

"It's just I missed our giraffe friend, he barely go with us anymore" I said with a sad tone

"Oi Kitty, don't think that, he was just helping her, maybe we can also be her friend so we can hang out the four of us" Beau said to me and I just nod and think on the positive side.

The next day, I was early and arranging some things that we needed for the upcoming event

"hey, shorty move!" I was startled a bit and when I looked I saw Jane smirking at me.

"You can said it nicely you know" I said to her and I moved to my place

"So what?! your blocking my way!" she sarcastically said to me and I snapped.

"You know what?! I don't know what's your problem with us but dropped your act! We are nice to you but you are mean to us" I yelled at her.

"I don't fucking care!" she shouted to me also and pushed me and I fall to the floor.

"Hey! stop hurting Keith!" I heard Beau as he rushed to push her to the side and help me get up

"Weakling!" she continues

"What's your problem?" Beau asked her again

"Hey you double chin don't meddle in between or you want to be hurt also!" she yelled at Beau

"Don't insult my friend! And stop name calling us!" I shout to her.

"Hey Kit, Beau, why are you arguing with Jane? What's the problem?" suddenly Pawell came and asked us.

"You! you are the problem!" I blasted my anger to him

"Me? Why? I don't get it" Pawell was confused

"Bullshit!, Beau let's go! And by the way Pha, Beau was not fighting he was just helping me" I said to him and dragged Beau out of the room, before another commotion would start.

I just dragged Beau outside and we went to the rooftop and maybe we can skip class to cool down for what had happen I was still fuming in anger.

"Kit, are you okay?" Beau asked me with worried look

"I'm okay Beau, thank you for helping me earlier" I smile to him

"ahm, why are you fighting earlier?" he asked

"I don't know I was arranging some paper works when she start name calling me and when I ask what's her problem she just cursed at me and pushed me" I said to him and yeah I don't know too why she was irritated with me.

"That's weird, well anyways let's head back. It's bad to skip classes especially you are the class representative" Beau said to me and I smile he was so thoughtful.

"okay, let's go" I said and we stand and head back to our classroom. We just ignored Pawell and Jane so that no one can notice the tension between us.

I just do my task as the class representative at the library and I was so busy and didn't notice that's it's time to go home already. My phone blips and it was a text coming from Beau that he will just wait for me at the lobby. I arranged my things and put it inside my bag. I was startled when I heard a familiar voice.

"Kit, can we talk?" It was Pawell, I sigh and face him.

"Okay, I think we really need to talk" I said to him

"I was confused earlier with your outburst on me" Pawell said softly

"Sorry for that, it's just you barely hang out with us and even your cousins ask where have you been?" I confessed to him.

"I am sorry also and about my cousins I just talked to them and they nagged at me for neglecting my best friend's to help the transfer student" Pawell explain

"We understand that you want to help her, but honestly speaking I just don't get her why she was mad to us" I said to Pawell.

"Now you said it I just found it odd, when I try to talked about you guys to her she will eventually cut me off and leave me alone, like what happen now" Pawell said what he was thinking.

"Aw, she leave you alone?" I asked in confusion

"Yeah, she just copy some notes and when I asked her what happen earlier, she said she will be going home, so I just looked for you to get some answer" Pawell said

"Oh, where is Beau? You know you can talk to him right, no need to look for me" I asked him

"Aww, Beau said he will wait at the lobby and asked me to looked for you" Pawell answered me.

"Aww, that brat, okay let's go, maybe we can grab something to eat before we go home. I am starving" I said to him and we just went outside to go to Beau.

What surprise us, is when we go to the lobby we saw Beau and Jane at one of the bench, talking to each other and it seems serious, because they didn't notice us when we quietly walk behind them, I know it's bad to eavesdrop but heck I am curious. I just dragged Pawell to ducked his head and we sit behind the bench so we cannot interfere on what they were talking about.

~BEAU POV~

I know my best friends were busy. Pawell was always helping the transfer student and Keith was busy to his task as our class representative.

I don't know what happen to Jane but one thing I know for sure. I will talked to her for once and for all. I can't bear to see my best friends being confused and dragged by her.

When the bell rings, Keith said he will finished some works at the library and requested that I wait for him and I agreed. I will just text him when I want to go home. When he was gone, I saw Jane copying some notes to Pawell, when she was done Pawell tried to talk to her but she just cut him off and leave Pawell alone. I went to Pawell and asked if he can fetch Keith at the library and he obliged to do it.

When Pawell was out, I hurriedly follow Jane and there I see her sitting on one of the bench in the lobby. I approach her.

"Jane, can we talk? As in seriously talk?" I asked her softly. She sigh before answering.

"What do you want? Make sure that your talk was worth my time" She said to me.

"Jane, I was just curious, why you try to break our friendship? Pha, Kit and me?" I said to her straight to the point, and I can see that she was scared that I know what she was doing.

"How? Well it doesn't concern you" She was furious I can sense it.

"It's my concern! I don't want to see my best friends suffer!" I yelled at her, and she flinched

"It's not like that, it's just I am envious at your group" she open up

"Why? Why envied us?" I softly asked her

"Because I know your friendship will not last forever"

"No it's not what you think" I said to her

"I don't believe you, I have encounter many people, they just befreind me because my family was rich. So, whenever I saw a group like that I break them apart for their good" Jane narrates her story

"We are not like that!" I snapped at her.

"No! I know that you befriend me because of my money, you are so fake! Even Pawell!" she exclaimed and I slapped her. I can't contain my emotions and she was shocked to what I did.

"Stop it Jane! Stop it!" I said to her

"What?! How dare you hit a girl?!" she protest but I cut her off

"We don't need you money! You said that you envied us?! That's not the reason to break our group! You can just be one of us! Why don't you trust us?!" I shouted to her and I can see that she was stunned.

"Pawell and Keith befriend you because they want to... the real problem here is... you... Jane... you don't want to trust us... we were not like that... heck! We don't need your money at all!" I was sobbing while talking to her, and I can see that she was crying also.

"I'm sorry, I just don't want to see people pretending to be friendly" Jane sobs

"I know that it's hard to trust people, but you need to Jane...I'm sorry I hit you" I said to her.

"I'm sorry Beau, please forgive me" Jane was crying while apologizing to me.

"Just trust us Jane, everything will surely be alright" I smile to her

"Can Pawell and Keith forgive me?" She asked

"Oh, it was nothing! right Keith?!" we were startled when I heard Pawell and I saw Keith sniffing.

"Pha! Kit! you were eavesdropping!" I whined to them, while I wipe my tears away.

"Pawell, Keith I am sorry" Jane said to them.

"Nah! don't mention it! It was nothing. Just try to open up and believe in us" Pawell said

"I'm sorry too for yelling at you, I know that nothing can settle in an argument but I act immature earlier" Keith said

"Thank you!" Jane smile and wipe her tears.

"Welcome to the group Jane!" Keith and I yelled in unison while Pawell was clapping.

"As a proper welcome party, let's have pizza and fried chicken!" I squeal to them

"Hahaha! You and your antics Beau!" Pawell laugh at me and I pout at him

"Are you sure it's okay if we hang out? Will your parents been looking at you?" Jane asked us.

"It's okay Jane! Shall we go?" Keith said

"Yeah it's fine Jane, let's talk to our drivers" I said to Pawell and Keith

We all stand and go to our respective drivers to tell them to follow us to the mall and we will be using Jane's car to go there.

"You have your very own car and drivers?!" Jane asked confusedly

"Oww, Beau didn't tell you?" Keith asked her, and Jane just shook her head.

"Well, Beau said we don't need your money right" Pawell said to her and Jane just nod.

"That's because Beau's grandparents own the school and both our families, Pawell and I hold a share to this school and maybe even your parents" Keith said to her and we just laugh at her. She was gaping like a fish. Maybe she can't process what Keith said.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!" we all laugh at her and she just smack our heads and laugh with us.

"You should look at you face Jane" Keith said while laughing

"I really don't know, I just guess that you are leeching off on Pawell's wealth" Jane said

"No we are not like that" Pawell said to her containing his laughs.

"I'm sorry again, I make some assumptions" Jane said

"Just don't do it again" Keith said to her.

"Let's go! I'm starving!" I said to them and we all went inside the car to go to the mall.

While at the car we asked Jane about his family and some random stuffs.

"You said that you transferred here because of your dad's work, what will happen next year?" I asked her

"Well, my dad said it's only for a while, maybe next year I would transfer again" she said and look so sad about it.

"Don't be sad even when you were far away, we are still friends!" Keith smile at her.

"Honestly, if I can only choose, I would love to finish my high school years together with you guys, but I also love my family" She smile at us.

"No matter what happens, always remember it happens for a reason" Pawell said.

"Okay! Enough with the sappiness, it's still long way to go guys, let's just enjoy the moment for now that we are all together" I exclaimed to them.

"Yeah! Party!" they all shout and we all laugh.
