Chapter 42 The Proposal

"Oh my God! He's going to propose to me," Matilda said excitedly. "Get out of here, what if there's a video and they see me sitting next to an ugly person."

"At least I'm fresh-looking because I'm young.. how old are you again, oldie? 36?" she teased.

"Stop it, you're getting on my nerves!" Matilda snapped back.

"I'll stay right here, who knows, maybe that guy you're fooling around with, or is he your boyfriend, will end up marrying me instead."

"And why would he marry you, huh?" she asked, her eyes narrowing.

"Maybe he wants me because I'm tastier," she said, in a teasing mood.

"Leave me alone, or I might pull your hair!" Matilda threatened.

"Just try me, and I might just use a knife on your face," she said with a smirk.

"Hmp!" The woman huffed, "Remember, once Demi and I are married, you're off-limits in his life."

"Uuuh.. I won't be off-limits in Demi's life, remember that. I'm right here, and he might even propose to me with a video, and you'll look like an old lady," she retorted
