Chapter 52 It's just a dream

"Thank God! Are you okay?" Demi asked, concern etched on his face as Maine opened her eyes.

Maine had fainted while they were riding the horse, likely frightened when Demi had made the horse run faster. Fortunately, he had been holding her around the waist.

He had noticed her unconscious state when the horse slowed down, and he quickly brought her to the villa. The helpers were there, waiting. They assisted in getting Maine off the horse and into the small villa. Demi was worried about her condition, noting her rapid heartbeat, which probably caused her to faint.

"W-what happened to me?" she asked.

"You fainted while we were riding the horse. I think you got scared when I made the horse run faster," he replied.

Holding her head, Maine slowly sat up. Demi helped her, "So—it was just a dream that we ate?" she asked.
