TAMSYN'S POV I went to sleep as soon as the door to our bedroom was closed. My cousins were all sleeping, and I wondered where they could have been when I was leaving this room for the gym. I didn't immediately fall asleep as my heart was still racing. Caspian's declaration had put me in all my states. Was he really serious about giving us a chance to bond? What about my mission? "but he said you could only achieve your objectives if you work together right? Which means that you are not the only one the bond has been affecting but him too."my wolf inserted. 'Girl, what are you saying? I cannot tell him about my family and my pack remember, "I asked and it was a long moment before she finally spoke to me. 'Tamsyn, this is your mate we are talking about here. Which means your destinies are intertwined. You want to avenge our parent's death, and I am happy to help but remember that one day when you have confidence enough in him, you have no choice but to tell him. He is a part of
CASPIAN'S POV Walking to the dungeon with my mate in front of me, I felt happier than I could ever be. Her hair dangled to the rhythm of the gentle breeze. I felt the need to keep my fingers in those beautiful brown tangles. "Why is it that every time we walk around no one wants to stare at you? Everybody seems so afraid of you," she asked stopping to stare at me as I joined her. "I am their alpha and of course, they have to respect me, "I replied ignoring the dark stare she gave me. "Are you sure about that?" she queried and I nodded positively. A moment of silence went by before she finally told me what was on her mind: "I heard you killed many of your assistants just because they didn't do the work well or if you wanted them and they refused, then you killed them," "Luna! Tamsyn !"I groaned hearing what rumors about me. If someone else had said it, I wouldn't have protested but in the case of Tamsyn, it didn't sit well with me. I could feel anger rising in my veins.
TAMSYN'S POVOnce Caspian was carried to his chambers, I tried my best to calm down but it wasn't working. Tired of passing around in the pack house gym, I finally went out to look for Aslan or Nolan to hear from them as to what could have possibly happened to my mate.I didn't have to far before meeting Aslan who headed my way with a smile;"What is wrong with your Alpha? Why did he suddenly faint?"I asked as soon as I stood before him."I don't know what to say. He is not feeling well," he replied hesitantly his eyes never meeting mine.Silence enveloped us as I tried to calm down my erratic breathing. My heart was racing faster than ever. Was it Capian's situation or something else was wrong?"Are you ok Miss Tamsyn? You are pale," Alan asked his voice full of concern. How to explain to him that his alpha's situation was terrifying me?"Can I see your Alpha?"I asked avoiding his question."I don't think it would be possible because he is not well and I doubt he would be able to talk
Tamsyn's povSeven years agoI sat on the ground a few walks away from our pack as I observed my cousins: Lily and Rose who were our beta's children, novalia, and then Cruz playing all in their white wolf forms. As usual, we came here after our warrior training to have fun for a while. The Sun was high in the sky and it was my usual day of fun but I felt worried. As the daughter of the alpha, I trained from four a.m. to nine a.m.But today Mom had asked me to stop training by seven. Weirdly, she asked me to go play.My intuition told me something was wrong and my heart couldn't stop racing. My doubt was confirmed when my bestie and cousin: Arden came running our way all sweaty. His blond hair stocked to his face and his bare foot was dirty.“Tamsyn, the Luna asked you to come back as soon as possible."“What happened?"I heard Novalia asking. I turned to see them naked and sweaty since they had just shifted to their human form.“No time for questions. Come back to the pack" he said firmly
CASPIAN'S POV«Caspian?I will never forgive nor forget the fact that you were present but you didn't save me."my brother Atticus said standing in front of me in his younger version. His pale lip twisted evilly.“But what If I couldn't Atti? What if I tried but I couldn't?"My younger version pleaded.“It doesn't matter anymore. It's in the past" he roared and I shivered.“But if it is all in the past then why can't you forget?" my younger self asked worried.“Someone else could have done it and I will have forgotten but you Caspian, you are my blood. For to that reason, I can't forget, and believe me brother you have to pay"he finished in a cold voice. Before his laughter reverberated while he disappeared.A chill traveled down my spine and I opened my eyes only to realize, I was having my usual nightmare. It was just a nightmare less scary than others. My name is Caspian di Luca, Alpha of the Rising Stars pack. My parents Ashton and Katana di Luca are known for their unique skills with
TAMSYN'S POVI tied my soft brown hair into a ponytail as I stood in the small wooden room we had constructed before. I filled my black jean's pockets with chewing gum for my work. Looking around there was nothing that I hadn't packed. My phone rang at that moment: I saw the council's name and immediately answered the call.“Tamsyn, the alpha is aware of your visit. Now do you need anything?"“I need a packet of chewing gum still sealed. We need earbuds. We will all sleep in the same bedroom. Prepare for six beds. We need one laptop in our room. Then Alpha, tell him that we don't need Omega's to clean our rooms, we can do it by ourselves,"Anderson chuckled softly:“Anything else?"“We need at least 3 notebooks and I think that is all,"“Then I will call him to let him know. I wish you all the best Tamsyn,"“Thanks, Anderson, "I whispered.I turned to find my group members looking at me. Novalia then placed the map we have been using for our nomad life on my bamboo bed:“So, the risin
CASPIAN'S POVI paced my office, with my hands deep in my pocket. My wolf has been restless for a while now and I still didn't know the reason. To be truthful, the beast had refused to talk to me.Finally tired of pacing, I stopped in front of the glass walls to have a good view of my pack. Our guest had finally arrived and it took everything I had not to go welcome the famous leader of the Blue eye rogues. Feeling how restless my wolf was, I feared losing control and shifting if I went out to meet them.“They just settled in alpha, "Aslan mind-linked me.“What are they like? Do you think they are capable of handling this case?"I asked eager to know his answer. He was silent and then said:“Their leader is pretty much young for someone who solved the “katanga" case. But when I see how fast she was in taking down our most trained and trusted warriors, then I think she shouldn't be underestimated,"Why did I feel the sudden need to meet her? No one had fascinated me this way before.“OK
CASPIAN'S POVI had just finished my work and was about to go home when a knock stopped me on my track.I lifted my head to see Aslan behind the transparent glass doors.Throwing my pen on the table I lean on my desk and mind link him to enter. With a smile on his face, he pushed the door open and moved towards me with a yellow file in his hands.“Alpha, the leader of the blue-eyed rogues asked for a meeting with you tonight. I just confirmed with your new PA that you are free as from four pm. Should I tell her to get ready by 3?"I smirked hearing that my mate had finally decided to meet me after ignoring me for two days. She must have finished nursing her wounds from the agreement to ignore each other. When she left my office two days ago with a large smile on her face, I thought she was different from all the other women. Turns out I was wrong because she ignored me for the next two days and I realized she wasn't as strong as she claimed.Today I was going to see if she will be that
