{Jax's POV}
We finished our grocery shopping and I hesitated by the doors. I could still smell her, she hadn't left yet. I took a deep breath, braced myself, and we head out the doors. I heard a car start and watched the dark sedan pull away. I could feel some of the tension lift from my chest.

{Rose's POV} I took a deep breath before slinging my backpack over my shoulder. This was it. This was the first day of senior year of high school. I vowed to not let anybody, nor anything, get in the way of me finally having a great school year. And that included Jax, the guy that had been bullying me since early elementary school. {Present} I took a deep breath and closed my eyes before getting out of my car. Finally the last year of school, the last year of having to be near Rose. Maybe I would be able to scare her out of the pack when I became Alpha. The therapy mom has made me start getting was helping me understand my trauma, but it was still there. “Come on Pat, please hurry. {Rose's POV} I hoped today would go better than yesterday. I couldn't believe how derailed the whole day had gotten. Today was supposed to be the beginning of a great year, yet Jax was relentless. I hopped out of my car just as Lily arrived. She hopped off Baby and smiled at me. “New day! Let's dominate today!” She said cheerfully, clapping me on my shoulder. I smiled at her before getting distracted by the red car that parked on the other side of mine. Jax and Pat. I hadn't even realized they rode in together, though I guess it made sense.
