"He had a blood bond, he just did not want her, my mother, to deal with all that came with being blood bound to the Demon King," I am not entirely lying.

"And your mother?" Adraelech asked, though by his voice I knew he already knew the answer.

"She died four years ago." There was no hesitation in my voice. It was said as though it was nothing but another fact. My demon side was seemingly affecting my emotions, it seems I gave into too many dark desires when fighting this mini army.
