Zed expected his sexual relationship with his boss to evolve into something more. He expected her to develop feelings for him as he did, but he was mistaken.

"How's your love life, best friend?" Sunny approached Hailey at her locker and asked her a question.

“Hey, I'm new here. Can you please show me the 2A class?” A deep, rich masculine voice asked, making Hailey and Sunny turn toward him. He was 6’4, chocolate skinned, and had a beautiful body.

“ We are headed in that direction. I am Hailey and this is my friend Sunny,” she introduced.

“ Hi Hailey, Sunny…nice to meet you both,” he responded while walking to class with them.

The class went silent when they entered with Ryan. Most of the girls started adjusting their clothes, while others winked at him seductively.

“ How was your first half of your first day of school?” Hailey asked as she walked with Ryan and Sunny to the cafeteria.

“ It’s been alright,” he shrugged.

“ You’d get used to it. It’s just your first day,” she assured.

“ Oh, I know it will. I’m starting to like it,” he smiled.

“Hi, babe,” Sunny said, answering her call from Keith.

“ I’m well, yourself?” he asked her.

Ryan was silent for a while. He liked Sunny from the first time he set his eyes on her. But it seemed she was already taken by another.

It hurt a little, but it’s best he found out sooner rather than later. He thought to himself.

“ Are you okay?” Hailey looked worried.

“ I am fine, don’t worry.” as if on cue, Tessy came around to their table to flirt with Ryan.

“Hi, handsome,” she greeted.

“ Hey mama,” he entertained, amusing both Sunny and Hailey. They wanted to know where this conversation was heading.

“ Would like to hang out sometime?” she asked, twirling her hair over her fingers.

“ I don’t mind, actually, can I have your contact, so we could talk?”

“Of course,” she said, handing over her phone to him to type in his number, which he did so with ease

“ Thanks, and I will call you soon,” she happily strutted to her seat.

“ Bravo! You scored a date on the first day of school,” Hailey applauded just as the bell rang.

“ That’s our cue to leave, I guess you don’t have Maths with us do you?” Sunny asked

“I have literature. I guess I will see you after school or tomorrow,” he bid.

“ Okay, see you around Ryan,” Hailey replied, walking away with her best friend.
