"Do you think I don't know what's going on in my mansion when I'm not home?!" Hunter yells at me. 

Right now I'm being tied to a chair and I'm in some kind of dark room. Obviously where Hunter kills people who go against him. 

And with the look of things, I think the same thing is going to happen to me. 

"Well good for you " I muttered. 

"Did you say something" he says and grab my chin his fingers press against my cheek, I moan in pain. 

"You dare disrespect me, you don't know what I'm capable of " he growled. 

I cough as he releases his hand on my cheek and breath in heavily. 

"I know what you are capable of Hunter, you can kill me and nobody will know " I scoff. "Right? "

He smirk "Yes and I really wanna know your mom will react when she finds out you are dead, how Ryder will react... Oh I forgot he doesn't give a fuck about you."

I cringe at the thought of my mother crying. 

"Second option, you want your mom to die for your sins instead "

"Don't you dare! " I flared up. " Leave my mother out of this, please " I yell.

He was about to reply when the guy that took me back enters the room. 

"Boss, you have to see this "

"what is it? " hunter says coldly. 

He whispers in to his ears which made Hunter's eyes grew darker. 

"Take her to her room and get a maid to clean up the wound on her leg " he instruct before storming out of the room. 

"Hello, you are still alive? " the guy said with a stupid smirk plastered on his face. 

I glares at him. 

"You are one lucky girl you know... Damn! I can't believe Hunter will let you go just like that. But hey, I'm sure you will reward him later isn't it?" he grins. 

"Get me out of this goddamned stuffy place you bastard " I yell at him. 

He shrugs and untie me before bringing me to my room.

I was already asleep when I heard a knock on my door. I stood up to open it, grumbling to myself. 

A guy was at my door, he has bushy unshaven stubble which didn't stop him from looking so breathtaking. Maybe I did off my pant when it's shaved. 

"I.. Hi, who are you?"

"Hey I'm Ryan " he answers smiling. 

"Ryan? "

I've heard that name before.

"Hunter's.... "

"Right hand man or better still Bestfriend " I interrupt. 

He grins showing his full white teeth. 

"Wow...you've known me already. I guess no need for introducing myself "

I smile in reply. 

"Sorry did I wake you up, I'm sorry if I did "

"No no no, it's not a problem at all. It's fine seriously " I smiled at him. 

"Damn, is your name Hazel? " he says staring into my eyes. 

I get it, my eye color. 

"Hmm yeah, you're free to call me that, but my name is Lauren "

"Alright Hazel, beautiful Hazel " he says. 

Oh he's such a charmer. "Thanks " I blush. 

"You are really nice, unlike Hunter " 

He nods and chuckles "He never fails to show people that, but trust me he's the nicest person you will ever meet. "

"That's a lie, a big lie " I huff. 

Speaking of the devil...... 

Hunter's annoying and raspy voice interrupts our convo as he walks in with eyes full of fury and anger. I see that everyday. 

"What the fuck, do you think you are doing Ryan, and you go back inside your room. "

I rolled my eyes "Bye Ryan, meeting you is the nicest thing that I've ever happen to me in this house" I whispers and smile, he return it and I walk in without taking a glance at Hunter I close the door. 

Not quite long, Hunter walked into the room like he owns the place. Of course he did own the place. He could own any fucking thing he wants.

Cold-hearted handsome jerk.

He grip my shirt and push me to the wall.

"Now tell me why this stupid head of yours, think of escaping " he growls. 

"And does your stupid head thinks I will stay in this place and spend all my life here! " I yelled back and he slapped me hard on my face. 

I gasp holding my cheek. 

"You don't fucking talk to me like that. " he growls. 

Tears welled up in my eyes. 

"You think beating up an innocent lady is the best thing to do. You did not find out well about me cos if you do, you're gonna know that I have a fucking final exams to write. I have dreams Hunter, I have plans for my future and then you came out of nowhere and ruin it all. You ruined my life, you ruined it!!!! " I scream letting out tears. 

He's just cruel, he doesn't have human feelings.

"And you think disrespecting me will make that happen? Listen princess I won't let you move an inch from this place until your father pay his debt and as for your exams, don't give it a thought you will do it " he says before walking out the room. 

I sigh and clean my eyes. All heavy burden has been laid off my chest. I don't care, whatever he's gonna i must write my final exams.

I was isolated inside my room for the whole week, it's been two weeks. I had breakfast lunch and dinner in here. 

Hunter had enrolled me into a online class, I have been taking the class and yeah I just finish my exams today. 

It would have been better if I was in school with Matt attend prom and graduation together. 

It would have been fun rather been stuck here celebrating my valedictory through a screen. 

I haven't seen Hunter ever since our last convo. 

That's what I thought when he barged into my room drunk and high. 

I can feel it, this will be no good.
