Suspicion

The woman felt a bolt of panic rise up her throat when he started stalking towards her with- what she assumed- intention of ripping her apart.

"Where the fuck were you?" he thundered, sounding as baleful as death, his unwavering glare pinning her to the spot. His fists were clenched tight as if he was controling himself from throwing fists on her. Angela swallowed.
