Dax’s pov“I can’t deal with this anymore,” Raven whispered, clutching her head angrily. I moved towards her and took hold of her arms. “You don't have to worry about them.” “I don't think the pack members gossip. Everyone has what they are going through,” I tried to explain to her. Raven sniffed and raised her head. “It isn't about that. It is really embarrassing, you won't understand,” She said. What happened was still baffling me. Her sister’s attitude was the most surprising to me. The venom and bitterness in her voice! What could her sister have done to warrant such hatred? I could imagine everything that Raven had to go through at the hands of her wicked sister. I wanted to suggest that we take a walk but I do not think that was the best idea at the moment. At that moment, Lily walked down the stairs with her eyes bloody red. “Ohh ohh,” I said internally.This might not be good at all. “Ohh my God! Lily, I didn’t know you were awake,” Raven said and rushed to Lily.

Raven’s pov“Do you want me to kick him out?” Dax asked. I nodded my head almost immediately, gulping down. I didn't want Jade or Marcus to see me break down. Marcus’ pov“I need to tell my parents about this!” Jade said, fishing out her phone from her purse. I opened my mouth to say something but I couldn’t. I have never been betrayed this way in my entire life! This was prosperous!“I can’t believe this, it has to be a joke!” I finally found my voice, shaking my head in dismay. “Mom, you need to hear what Raven literally did! I have always told you that she was useless!” Jade shouted over the phone. I staggered backward, falling on my couch. So this wasn’t a joke?“We are leaving right now! We are heading to that fucking pack and she better have an explanation,” I suddenly said, grabbing my keys. Jade stared at me in confusion. “We?” She asked, her voice quivering a bit. “Listen, I understand that this met you by surprise, but we can’t go there! We have heard so much news about the north, those people are heartless! They can kill both of us in a second!” Jade said. I shook my head. “No! That bastard broke the rule first!” I said

Raven’s povI typed on my phone furiously, wondering why Rokun was sounding this way. “What’s wrong?” I shrieked in fear, almost dropping my phone. “Oh my gosh! Dax, you scared me,” I whispered, holding my chest. “I am sorry about that,” he quickly apologized, a small smile forming on his lips. I wish I could laugh about this, too, but I was nervous as hell. Something didn’t seem right and it was getting me on my edge. “You wanna join us? The table is set already?” Dax asked, pointing towards the dining area. I took a deep breath. “I am so sorry, I just lost track of where I was and—“Dax shook his head, stopping me from talking more. “You really don’t have to explain much, I totally understand that you have some things that you are dealing with,” Dax said. I smiled at him.He was so understanding, I had never met someone like him before. He slowly guided me to the dining hall and I met Nana already feeding Lily. “Lily tells me she has a problem with school,” Nana asked.

Marcus’ pov“Tell me exactly where she is, else,” I threatened him, holding his jaw fiercely. Rokun cried out, pleading for mercy. “I have no idea about it.
