Froze her to the core

The darkening clouds and forceful wind brushed against her face as she sat inside the car, leaning her head against the back of the seat and gazing outside.

Silent tears continued to stream down her cheeks. The thunderous rumblings of the clouds made her flinch slightly, pulling her out of her thoughts.

Being alone with him in the car made her extremely nervous. He hadn't spoken to her since she got in, and she couldn't understand why.

She remained fixated on the view outside the window as the rain poured down heavily. As she tightly clasped her hands together, she couldn't help but wonder what would happen when they reached his home.

Her growing anxiety was exacerbated by his silence but maybe once they reach home, she'll try to talk things out and clear the air between them.

She never thought she'd actually consider this whole marriage thing, especially after the mistreatment of his towards her. But, now he's her husband, so she figures she'll give it a try and try to make things
