Elena pov I hear more feet outside the door and someone is trying to open the door. Looking around in the bathroom for anything I can use to my defense when my eyes land on a small window. I bet I can manage to squeeze out through there! Being on the second floor of this building might be a problem. Taking a chair and placing it in front of the window I open it up and look outside. Right to my left is a water spout and I can use it to get down. Throwing my bag outside the window with my jacket I start to climb out the small window without thinking twice about it! Elena pov I stand still and listen for any movement for a long time when I see some headlights coming this way. A sign is on the top and I know it's a bus. It's my chance to get away from here. Standing right under the light so the bus driver can see me, I wait for it to come closer. I'm anxious and want it to stop fast so I can get inside and hopefully make it away from here without anyone finding me. The bus starts to slow down and I reach inside my jacket for some money to pay for my ticket on the bus. It comes to stop beside me and I'm quick to get on it. Paying the driver I get a ticket and walk over to take a seat in an empty seat. There are some people on the bus but I'm grateful it's not crowded with people. Elena pov I sit there frozen in my spot and everything goes in slow motion. I have stopped breathing by now! The driver opens both doors before I see him get up from his seat. He stands up and looks out the window before I hear voices and he is talking to them, I know it's only a matter of seconds before they are coming on board the bus and will find me here! Looking at the open door to my right I see an opportunity to make a run for it. The forest is right there!
