No, there were too many factors involved in her stay with him. A stay he knew would end in disaster if he didn't stop it. She would have to go, he would make sure of it.

He didn't mind if he had to get her a whole house and furnish it to make her comfortable, but he couldn't afford to let his family find her and let them ridicule her into something less. To do that, he would help to keep her secure and make sure she never lacks anything for the rest of her life.

"I'll get you an apartment of your own that you will be staying in from now on," Darell announced to her after he had decided in his heart.

"But, I don't want to go," Marcelyn huffed at him. Like she thought earlier, if he had said all that when they had only just met, then she wouldn't have minded even for a single second. But now, she had grown fond of him and she didn't want to stay away.
