Chapter one hundred& fifty seven

Darell sat alone in his room, staring blankly at the wall. His mind was a mess of emotions, and he couldn't seem to shake the feeling of betrayal that hung over him like a dark cloud.

"What are we going to do, Darell?" Chris, asked as he walked into the room. "Marcelyn is out there attacking innocent people, and we need to stop her before she does any more damage."

Darell sighed deeply. "I know, Chris, but it's not that simple. Marcelyn is my mate, and I can't just go out there and fight her like she's some kind of enemy."

"But she has become way more dangerous for us Darell," Chris argued. "She's attacking our pack and causing chaos. We can't just sit back and do nothing."

"I know, I know," Darell said, running a hand through his hair. "I just don't know how to approach this. I don't want to hurt Marcelyn, but at the same time, I can't let her continue to hurt innocent people."

There was a knock on the door, and Darell's head snapped up. "Who is it?"
