Aurora woke with a start. She blinked a few times before she remembered where it was, she was at. Aurora stared up at the ceiling of Arden's loft above his bar. It took her a moment to collect why it was she was there. Then she remembered.

Aurora sat up suddenly from the large bed. Her eyes scanned the room looking for Arden. When they finally fell on him. He was sitting in one of the chairs at the small table in the center of the room. Aurora slid to the edge of the bed and looked at him. She waited for him to say something. Anything.
