10| Sweet to her

Daniel broke the casual hug with Lucia and turned towards Mili to inform, "This is Lucia, owner of this brand and a friend of mine. She'll be guiding you to pick the right things."

By attitude, Daniel did not seem a friendly person to Mili but Lucia was one of the very few human beings Daniel had befriended. Lucia gave Miliani a warm smile before bringing the catalogues of her latest collection. She cancelled all of her appointments today and came here as Daniel personally called her up after ages to inform his wife needed some wardrobe upgradation and he could trust no one but her regarding this matter.

Mili's injury made it difficult for her to try on any shoes or dresses, not that she had much experience with this level of fashion. Lucia, with her expert eye, quickly assessed Mili's proportions and after a few discussions with her, Lucia announced to Daniel that she was done with her work. Lucia, this time gave Mili a quick hug cause she watched earlier while hugging Daniel, his wife was looking like an angry kitten.

Mili lifted her arms as Daniel approached, preparing to nestle into his arms once more.

As he lifted her, she patiently waited for him to carry her out of the store. Although she understood they were there to get her some clothes but seeing no shopping bags given to them, she felt conscious of her body type.

The security men had already unlocked the door as Daniel carried Mili towards it. It was not until then that she noticed two other cars full of bodyguards following them. She looked out of the car's window, observing the car's swift movements, just when she felt her body stiffening as Daniel leaned extremely close to her. Despite being carried by him all the evening before, this unexpected sudden proximity, with their faces nearly touching, caused her breath to catch for a moment.

His eyes, a deep, mesmerising shade, always seem to hold an otherworldly allure, drawing her into a vortex of emotions she cannot comprehend - it scares her so much but oddly pulls her in, into its own deeply, darkly ethereal charm. Goosebumps lined up on their own accord as Daniel leaned more over her body while his hands brushed against the skin of her shoulders and neck.

He pulled out the seatbelt which was stuck behind Mili's back. Shifting a bit, he noticed, her entire being screaming meemies due to this mere proximity, Mili's lower lip caught between her teeth out of nervousness. It irritates him so fucking bad but makes him wanna give her more reasons to continue such. Daniel's patience frayed, a dark smouldering intensity brewing within him.

Daniel placed the seat belt across the middle of her chest and intentionally tightened it more than required, the strap pressed into her soft curves, highlighting the swell of her delicate breasts.

Mili, oblivious to his evil intentions, felt relaxed as he leaned back after buckling her seatbelt. After a quiet drive to the Mansion, Daniel brought her to the mansion and took her to her room. Lying her on the bed, he left without sparing her a glance. Mili waited for Willa to bring her food and made her stay in the room secretly as she was not used to sleeping alone. At night, Willa and Mili kept talking about everything that had happened today, both being of similar age and devoid of such real life experiences, could connect to each other smoothly.

Opposite to what everyone warned and what Mili perceived of Daniel, he established a reward system with her. Where if she finishes her lessons with the best of her proficiency, he would reward her with something special she can look up to.

After learning everything possible about grooming, etiquette and manners it was finally Mili's last class with Claudia after which Daniel would take her somewhere out for dinner.

Mili's closet was now overflowing with clothes, shoes and accessories she had never imagined owning. After Willa helped her with the dress, Mili secured the elastic bandage around her ankle. Her leg sprain had healed quite well, allowing her to walk on her own with a little support but when Daniel lifted her into his arms, she chose to remain silent.

Quietly nestled in his embrace like a contented being, Miliani pressed her head on his chest. Daniel intended to take her to the terrace of a skyscraper where he had arranged a candle light dinner for her. As he carried her, he could not help but smile at her childishness when he noticed the little smiley faces she had doodled on the bandage of her ankle.

Antonio Romano was trying to calm his nerves sitting in the room with an extensive collection of rifles and firearms. It was the wicked man's only hobby to collect the rifles from the oldest version to the latest model. His temper was already out of the surge as tomorrow came the day when the new Don would be ascended officially, a mere boy, carrying impure blood and much much younger than all of them, more ridiculous than anything offending.

On top of that, his daughter's constant nagging was getting out of his hands. Jessica even managed to follow him to this room where anyone else apart from Antonio himself was not allowed but his daughter is the only person to break that rule often.

Antonio already had more than enough of her demands, he gestured to his daughter to sit beside him on the leather sofa.

"la mia principessa", he turned to her dropping the cigar and with a stern voice snarled, "Shut up and go to your room. Prepare for tomorrow's event, there will be -" (my princess)

I might find one potential match for you - that was the exact words her father was going to shout at her, Jessica knew all of it but she was in no mood to bear with it. She aborted the ominous room even before her father could finish with this crap.

She has no actual plan to get married at least not until she turns thirty.
