The hand and The claw

The electricity came back suddenly and the whole room shone brightly with lights. We came back at our senses as both of us was quite taken aback by the sudden awkward situation. Adam quickly moved over my body and went near the table.

" Hmm,oh, it was there,,," He said awkwardly, holding the charger light in his hand and came back to his cushion.

" Oh...." I said meekly in a whispering voice.

There was a moment of silence between us as both of us was feeling awkward and embarrassed at the same time.

" It's kind of hot in here,Isn't it?"

Adam said after a while and went near the window to open it. I exhaled the air which I was holding back inside of me for a while and nodded.

" Look! The rain has stopped ! "

Adam said while looking outside.

" I - I gotta go..."

I said at once and stood up. I quickly packed my things and ran towards the bedroom door.
