Chapter 2

Elena POV

I barely slept that night.

Damien’s words kept echoing in my head. “You, Elena.” The image of him pointing at me right after fucking that thin model on his desk refused to leave my mind.

The way my body had reacted even as my heart twisted with jealousy.

I tossed and turned in my small bed. My chubby body felt heavy against the sheets.

My soft belly and thick thighs stuck together. I kept replaying the moment. The way he had looked at me. The way he had chosen me.

By morning, my decision was made. I was doing this for love.

I walked into the office at 8am. My pencil skirt hugged my wide hips and thick thighs. My blouse stretched slightly across my full breasts. My chubby cheeks were already warm as I knocked on his door.

“Come in.”

Damien sat behind his desk looking unfairly perfect in a fresh black suit. He watched me close the door behind me. His eyes were intense.

“I’ve thought about your offer,” I said, standing in front of his desk.

He leaned back in his chair. “And?”

I took a deep breath. My soft belly pressed against the waistband of my skirt. “I accept. I’ll marry you for one year.”

A slow, satisfied smirk spread across his face. He stood up and walked around the desk toward me. “Good girl.”

Those two words sent a rush of heat through my entire body. I pressed my thighs together. I was doing this because I loved him. Madly. Desperately.

This was my only chance to be close to the man I had wanted for four long years.

He stopped right in front of me. Very close. “Good. You understand the terms? One year as my public wife. You stop working as my secretary immediately. I keep my private lifestyle. Big payout at the end. We make it look real to my family and the world.”

“I understand,” I said softly. My voice shook a little.

“But I have one condition. Please don’t humiliate me. If you sleep with other women, be discreet. I won’t be able to handle public embarrassment.”

Damien studied me for a long moment. His eyes moved slowly over my curvy body. Over my full breasts. My soft belly. My wide hips.

“Fair enough. I can agree to that. But you should know I chose you for a reason, Elena. You’ve seen the worst of me for four years and never betrayed me. You’re loyal. You’re real. You know every secret. And I think you’ll look damn good as my wife.”

He stepped even closer. His hand came up and brushed a strand of hair from my face. The touch was light but it made my skin tingle. “Any other conditions?”

I swallowed hard. “I want respect. Even if this is fake. Don’t treat me like one of your disposable women.”

He smirked.

“I won’t. You’re different.” His fingers trailed down my arm. “We start tonight. No time to waste. My father gave me one week. We’re going to Kane Estate this same night. My father’s house. We need to sell the engagement immediately.”

My heart jumped. “Tonight?”

“Yes. Tonight.” He pulled me closer. My soft, curvy body pressed against his hard one. My full breasts squished against his chest. My soft belly touched his abs. His hand settled possessively on my wide hip. “Go home now. Pack a bag. Wear something elegant that shows off these curves. Practice how we act as a couple touching, smiling, looking in love.

No mistakes at Kane Estate.”

I nodded, trying to stay calm. “What story do we tell them about us?”

“We keep it simple. You’ve been my secretary for four years. We grew close over time. Feelings developed. We decided to make it official. You’re the only woman who truly understands me and my world.”

His hand squeezed my hip. “And you look at me like you’re in love with me. Can you do that, Elena?”

I looked up into his eyes. “Yes. I can.”

He leaned down. His lips brushed my ear. “Good. Because from tonight, you’re mine. Publicly. For one year. No turning back.”

The words sent a shiver down my spine. I wanted to melt into him. I wanted him to kiss me properly. To push me against the desk and finally touch me the way I had dreamed about for years. But he stepped back.

“Go. My driver will pick you up in two hours. We leave for Kane Estate together. Be ready.”

I left his office on shaky legs. My mind was spinning. I was really doing this. Becoming his fake wife the same day. Meeting his family tonight at Kane Estate. My chubby body would be on full display.

Sophia Kane would judge every soft inch of me.

I rushed home. In my apartment I stood in front of the mirror. I chose a deep blue dress that clung to my full breasts, soft belly, and wide hips. It made me feel beautiful but nervous. I packed a small bag. Brushed my hair down. Put on makeup. Practiced smiling lovingly in the mirror.

Two hours later, the driver picked me up. As the car moved through New York traffic, my thoughts raced again. I touched my soft belly nervously. I was curvy. Plush. Nothing like the thin women Damien usually had on his arm. But he had chosen me.

The car stopped at his building. Damien waited outside looking handsome. His eyes moved slowly over my body. Over my cleavage. My hips. My curves.

“You look good,” he said. His voice was low. “Very good.”

He slid into the car beside me. His hand immediately rested on my thick thigh. “Remember. We are madly in love when we reach Kane Estate. Act like it from the moment we arrive.”

The drive felt intense. Damien kept giving me last minute instructions the whole way.

How to hold his hand. How to look at him. How to answer his mother’s sharp questions. Every word made the reality sink in deeper.

I was really doing this.

Because I loved him.

As the car pulled up to the grand gates of Kane Estate that same night, Damien squeezed my thigh. “Ready, wife?” he asked. But when the doors opened, Sophia Kane was already waiting with a cold smile. And I knew the real test had begun.

Chapter 57Damien’s POVThe waiting room was deliberately plain. No audience. Just a table, two chairs on one side for Marcus and me, and one chair opposite for Daniel Reed. Legal sat in the corner with a recorder running. I wanted everything on record.Reed was brought in looking thinner than the last time I had seen him in the hospital bed after the accident. He sat down carefully.“I already said the child is mine,” he began. “I already said I pushed Sierra toward you. What more do you want?”“I want the answers,” I said. “Start with my mother.”Reed’s mouth tightened. For a second he looked like a man measuring which version of the truth might still protect him.Elena’s POVI stayed at the penthouse, but the waiting was its own kind of weight.Damien had left early. He had kissed me and promised to be back home early.I cleaned the kitchen that was already clean and tried not to watch the clock, because I was already missing him.Damien’s POVReed finally spoke.“Your mother was

Chapter 56Damien’s POVThe house was quiet for the first time in weeks, but my mind was not.Sierra was gone. The false DNA results had been broken. Daniel Reed had already admitted the child was his and that he had pushed the claim onto me. That part was finished. What remained was the question that refused to sit still. Why had Reed been in the car with my mother the night of the accident?I called Marcus before sunrise.“I want everything on Reed’s connection to my mother,” I said. “Not only Sierra. Her. How long he was around. What he wanted. Why was he in that car?”Marcus was silent for a second. “That trail is quieter than the one with Sierra. But it exists. Give me a few hours.”I hung up and stood at the window of the penthouse, the city still dark. Elena came up behind me and rested her forehead against my back.“You’re already in it,” she said softly.“I have to be. Sierra was the weapon. Reed aimed at her. I need to know what he was doing with my mother before that.”She

Chapter 55Damien’s POVThe wait for the police was short and tense.Sierra stood near the entrance with her suitcase, the last of her denial hardening into brittle silence. Elena remained further inside the living room, arms folded, watching without interference. I kept the documents ready on the table. There was no need for raised voices anymore. The next part would be handled by process. When the intercom buzzed, I answered immediately.“Officers are here,” security said.“Send them in.”Two officers stepped into the penthouse a few minutes later. Professional. Direct. I explained the situation cleanly falsified DNA results, deception used to gain entry and remaining presence in the home, supporting documentation already compiled. Sierra tried once to reframe the scene as a domestic misunderstanding. It did not hold. The papers were too specific. The timeline was too clear. After a brief exchange, they escorted her out.Elena’s POVFor a long moment after she left, neither of us mo

Chapter 54Damien’s POVSierra’s face held for one more second. Then the crack showed.“No,” she said. “That’s not possible.”“It is,” I answered. “And it’s documented.”Elena remained beside me, silent and steady. Sierra’s eyes moved from my face to the phone in my hand, then back again, as if searching for a way to push the moment back into the version of reality she had controlled for weeks.“You’re wrong,” she said, louder now. “Those tests were done through proper clinics. You were there. You signed. You saw the reports.”“I saw what you paid for,” I said. “Both times.”“That is a lie.” Her voice sharpened. “You’re trying to crawl out of responsibility because your wife can’t handle the fact that you have a child with someone else.”Elena didn’t rise to it. She didn’t need to. The ground under Sierra’s story was already gone.I placed the printed summary Marcus had sent on the table between us.“Earlier clinic records. Seven months, not six. Payment trails to both testing chains.

  • His Filthy Obsession    Taking It Apart

Chapter 53Damien’s POVMorning came with a different kind of focus.I dressed without disturbing Elena more than necessary and left before Sierra could appear with another practical request. The documents Marcus had given me sat locked in my bag. Seven months, not six. Daniel Reed. A story adjusted to fit me cleanly. Today I intended to start breaking that story down in the open.Elena met me at the door as I reached for my keys.“You’re going out,” she said.“Yes.”“Be careful.” She saidI nodded once and left.Elena’s POVThe house felt altered the moment Damien was gone.Sierra came into the kitchen later than usual, one hand on her stomach, eyes already assessing the quiet.“He left early,” she said.“He had things to handle.”Her gaze lingered on me. “The temperature in this house changed overnight. I’m not imagining it.”“No,” I answered. “You’re not.”I didn’t offer more. For the first time since she arrived, I was not the one carrying the weaker position in the room. The kn

  • His Filthy Obsession    What Marcus found

Chapter 52Damien’s POVI stepped out of the bedroom before calling Marcus.Marcus answered on the first ring.“Talk,” I said.“I back checked everything,” Marcus replied. “Her timeline, the clinics, the early records, the address history. She didn’t start this story with the clinic that produced your first DNA result. Before that, she attended a different facility under clearer intake notes. According to those records, the pregnancy was already further along than she later claimed.”I stayed still in the hallway. “How much further?”“Seven months, not six. The earlier dating scans put her roughly four weeks ahead of the version she gave you. She shortened the timeline when she came to you. It made the match with your last encounter with her look cleaner.”The implication settled hard. “What else?”Marcus exhaled. “She wasn’t living alone before she moved into your house. Building logs, payment trails, and a recurring visitor all point to the same man. Daniel Reed.”The name locked ev
