Chapter 63: Breaking The Boundary
We were all seated in the minivan, with a song resounding the area along with their voices. I was sat beside Daniel in the passenger's seat, Kourtney and Mason were behind us, Emma and Caley sat beside each other, and Miguel and Amanda were at the very back row of the van.
I kept silent beside him, while I looked outside of the car's window to make my mind drift from the thought of this awkward situation. I felt like Daniel knew about my reaction a while ago and I could feel that he wasn't too glad about it. Not because of me suddenly being okay because Miguel was already around, but because I lack appreciation for his efforts.
Biting my lip, I was fidgeting by gripping the dress I was wearing. I was glad the awkward silence that was filling the gap between Daniel and I was replaced by the noises of the people at the back. They didn't care if they sounded out of tune, they were just having fun.
