As they came down the circle drive in front of the pack house, he realized there were a group of people on the steps waiting. Jake assumed these people were probably Sonya’s family. The driver came to a stop right in front of the steps and his warrior jumped out to open Jake’s door. He reached back in with his hand to help Sonya out.

Once she was out, she let out a yell “Mama, Daddy.” Then went running to embrace them.

Harriett shrieked and Reginald grabbed Sonya’s face “What the fuck happened to your face?”
