Chapter 22

WARNING****This is a dark chapter which has scenes of a sexual assault that can be triggering for some.

There were two guards on the ground unconscious and two bleeding laying over the booths in the back of the diner. The other two guards held guns on the couple as they motioned for them to come out from where they were.

“Why are you doing this?” Jake asked trying to use his Alpha authority on the men.

The men just smirked and started walking toward Jake and Sonya. Jake put Sonya behind him and walked towards the guards. The guards were completely quiet. Just as Jake and Sonya reached the guards, they were both stuck with needles in their necks.

As Sonya was passing out, she noticed she was being carried out of the diner and Jake was being drug so she was hopeful they were going to the same place since they were being taken together. She was in a lot of pain so she assumed they had been dosed with wolfsbane.
