She sat on the bed, subconsciously gripping on to the sheets. Her heart had increased by several paces faster and her breath had caught short in her throat, but she still glared at him like she could and would slit his throat with her press on nails.

Chris stared back at her, eye to eye, not a sign of fear or the slightest bit of love in his cold heartless eyes.

  • His Greatest Regret    One Week

Jessica sat comfortably on the bed and looked up at her husband. She suddenly broke out in a laugh that had Chris wondering what was so funny. A single tear drop trailed down her face and she wiped it away with her index finger. A soft sigh drew from her mouth and she felt a sense of relief wash over her. She looked up at Chris and rose to her feet with the grace of a queen. "So…" she uttered. "You want a divorce but you don't want people to know, not even your own family. Heard and understood, but I have one question. Why? I mean I know we don't love each other anymore but I thought we were going to tolerate one another, was that not the plan?" Anger had befan to rise inside of her, causing a storm inside her gut. "Tolerate? Yeah i tried but it only made me realize that not every one are tolerable. You for example, it is really impossible for anyone to even think about tolerating you–""And you think you are the one that is tolerable?!" She cut him off sharply and angrily. "Huh? Te

  • His Greatest Regret    At The Boutique

Cara was silent all through the car ride, she kept thinking about how her life was about to change in the matter of a few days. She could not say she did not want it to happen, but she would be lying if she said that she was not feeling anxious. She kept thinking back on her old marriage with Chris, what if things were to end up the same way with Romeo? 'No! Don't think about something like that! Things are different now! You are with a baby and he will stay with you because of that.'She did not know if that mentality was right but at least it gave her hope. Arriving at the dress shop, Romeo helped his woman down from the car. He led her into the giant boutique and went straight to the manager's office. The woman was a bright faced red head with freckles dotting her face and a pretty smile on her red lips as she scrolled through her phone. Her curvy body was wrapped in a red dress and a black belt wrapping aroud her waist and a pair of black high heels. She looked up at the soun

  • His Greatest Regret    Dragged To The Roon

All eyes were on Jessica but she chose not to care. She felt infuriated from the inside but had to wear a casual look on her face just because she did not want to give Sarah the satisfaction of a reaction. She focused on her food like she had not just announced that she would be stepping down from the position she had not even gotten the chance to uphold. Sarah wanted to break out in a laugh, knowing well that Jessica was breaking down on the inside. She was finally having the last laugh. Or at least she was laughing, even if it was not the last. Jessica had always been the one laughing since the beginning but finally, she got the chance to laugh as well. Who knew she would live to see that day?She ate her food without saying a word though, even though she was smiling from ear to ear. Jessica though insisted on not staring at the woman. She let out a soft sigh, "i cannot believe that I am the one taking the fall for someone else's mistakes. Either way, I am only doing this becau

  • His Greatest Regret    Forever Was Not Enough

Cara woke up with a lazy yawn, she wished she could lay back in bed even though she was not sleeping, just to relax her body. The scent of something mouthwaterinly delicious caught her nose and she just had to get up from bed. She picked up her phone and checked the time, it was a little after eight. She could not help but to wonder why she was awake so early. Going to the living room, the scent enticed her more and compelled her to move towards the large area dedicated to the kitchen. To her surprise, a handsome man was standing in front of the stove with an spron around his waist. He had all his attention fixed on the pancake he was flipping. His emerald green eyes were so focused that the pancake was to afraid to burn. She stared at him in silence for a moment and more. His perfectly built back and broad shoulders was enough to make her mouth water. She still found it hard to believe that such a man belonged to her and her alone. She would never have to share him romantically

The night went by in the blink of an eye, Jessica was wide awake all through. Her hunger had suddenly disappeared after her encounter with Sarah. She had gone through her phone and truly realized that she did not have the video anymore. How it happened, she did not know. But she knew how angry it made her and the bitter aftertaste it left in her mouth. How did that witch even get access to her phone if not by witchcraft? But thinking about it would solve nothing. The video was gone and there was no getting it back. As the day got brighter and brighter, fear dug its wretched nails deeper and deeper into her skin and all she could do was remain there defenseless. Nursing the pain with nothing but her emotions. As the clock hit seven, she came to decision. She had better not killed herself before death would come and take her. She was hungry and tired from not eating for so long.
