Santiago had barely finished his statement before the winds picked up and the rain began to pour mercilessly. Luckily, Pierre’s camera was waterproof—or so he claimed—because the trio were soaked by the time they made it indoors.

“Well, genius?” Lola referred to Santiago as she wrung her drenched mesh jacket into a flower pot. “This was all your plan. What now?”

Dripping wet, he flicked his hair back, wiping his face with a face towel provided by Pierre. “This changes nothing. The photo shoot was originally scheduled as a two-part activity. If we couldn’t get the pool photos right, then we put our heart and soul into the next one.”

Lola frowned. “And what is the next one?”

Santiago’s answer was an impish grin.

Several minutes later, with the storm going uninterrupted outside, both Pierre and Santiago managed to turn half of the living room into a mini studio. The pair had made multiple trips to and from the van parked outside, carrying lamps and background panels, and necessary props. Meanwhile, Lola got a new costume to change into: a striped, navy-blue business suit with a matching skirt that left sixty-five percent of her legs and thighs exposed, and red-bottom heels. Santiago wore a similar suit, but unlike her white stripes, his was black and so was the shirt he wore underneath. Pierre did a great job in styling his hair, so much so that Lola is almost tempted to ask him to style hers. About an hour after the weather mishap, they were ready to go again, this time with a little advice from their photographer.

“You guys have to be in the picture, if that makes sense. You’re a couple, you’re engaged, you’re in love. It has to bleed through the photographs. People have to see it, to feel it even. And you two can make that chemistry happen. Oui! That’s the word! Chemistry.”

Being the fanciful type, Lola could imagine a rainbow arching over his head as he stared dreamily into the ceiling. Santiago, however, had lost his patience.

“Come on, Pierre. I’ve got other tasks to run and this suit is starting to get itchy.”

“Right, right. Let’s get into position, then.”

Lola stopped breathing momentarily when Santiago pulled her close with a hand on her hip. She spotted the same look in his eyes from an hour ago, although it’s not as intense. Regardless, it was captivating enough to keep her staring deeply for a while, which sent Pierre on an unhinged spiral as he quickly took the pictures.

“Oui! Oui! Just like that! Eat each other up with those eyes! Fantastique!”

The pair settled for a couple more poses, with each looking more and more intimate than the last. Pierre was ecstatic with each pose, wearing a wide grin and yelling hilarious words of compliments as he clicked his camera repeatedly. When Lola opted to sit on Santiago’s lap, however, she immediately felt it. The tension was silently brewing between them, manifesting as a large, rigid bulge in his pants. The same throbbing hardness that poked Lola on her rump. She glanced at Santiago, and in an instant, she could tell what he was thinking with the glint in his eyes. Most likely because she was thinking the same thing as well.

“Pierre?” Santiago called, with his gaze still fixed on Lola. “You’ve got enough of those, right?”

“Oui, oui,” he replied excitedly. “I am very satisfied with this crop of photos. Now, if we could just—”

“No more pictures, Pierre. I believe you have more than enough. Now, if you don’t mind, the lady and I have some… business to attend to.”

Though Lola also kept a steady gaze on Santiago, she imagined Pierre glaring at both of them with drooping shoulders and wondering, Oh, no. What have I done?

“Oh,” he said slowly. “Right. Of course. At once. Right after I dismantle the set.”

“Don’t worry about that,” Santiago replied, leaving no room for argument. “Au revoir, mon ami.”

Lola waited until the front door closed with a click. Then, as if on cue, they both grinned at each other like mischievous children on the cusp of a wild adventure.

“So, we’re doing this every chapter, huh?”

Santiago offered a small shrug as his hand slid up into her skirt. “More like every three chapters or so. But I ain’t complaining. Are you?”

“Not at all.”

Seconds later, they both stumbled into Santiago’s study, passionately kissing and groping themselves. He managed to lock the door behind him as she fumbled with his belt and zipper. Santiago shrugged his suit off and completely ignored the buttons on his shirt as he ripped it open. Still making out, he took Lola’s jacket off as well, backing her onto his desk.

He spun her around, quite roughly, and bent her upper body to the polished surface of the table. As quickly as possible, he pulled her skirt upwards, revealing thin lace panties positioned nicely between a pair of smooth, fleshy butt cheeks.

“Cute,” Santiago remarked with a lustful grin. With a single pull, he ripped the piece of underwear off and tossed it to the side.

Almost immediately, Lola felt him inside her, thrusting with urgency. His approach was new this time—rough, fast, and hard. He even grabbed a fistful of her hair and pulled on it, slightly yanking her head back.

Surprisingly, she enjoyed it.

Grunts and moans escaped her lips with each push from his hips, the combined influence of pain and pleasure driving her sanity to an edge. Lola felt Santiago’s large hand around her throat during his movements, angling her head backward as he whispered into her ear.

“We might be fooling the world, munéquita, but no one would believe this is fake if they saw you this wet.”

“Mm… mm…” was all Lola could utter.

His thrusts became quicker and more urgent, creating a sensual symphony of his groin slapping against her butt cheeks. With her mouth hanging open, she was torn between telling him to slow down and begging him to keep up the pace. In the last moments of ecstasy, he filled her up with a single, deep thrust, promptly finishing inside her. With a deep, shaky sigh, he pulled himself out of her and turned her over. Lola, with smeared mascara and messy hair, was rattled out of her senses and needed a moment to recollect her thoughts.

“I think I found my niche,” she remarked absentmindedly.

“Oh?” Santiago beamed. “You don’t strike me as a rough sex kind of girl.”

“Neither do I. Now I don’t think I want it any other way.”

“Heh. Be careful what you wish for, munéquita. You might be asking for trouble.”

Lola took a deep breath and sat up so quickly that Santiago flinched. She grabbed his shirt, looked him dead in his sea-green eyes, and growled in his face.

“Haven’t you already figured? I like trouble.”

She dragged him to the floor with her, immediately kicking off the second round of sexual bliss.

“How come I never see you or the other staff around, Maxwell?” The chauffeur’s chuckle came out as a low rumble as his gray eyes peered into the rear-view mirror. “That’s because we’re not stationed there, Miss Lola. Due to specific orders from Mr. Morales, we only make ourselves available when necessary. The ladies, for instance, come around three times a week for occasional cleanup. However, Mr. Morales always makes sure you’re not indoors whenever they are.” “Huh,” Lola said, perplexed. She’d never seen it that way before. “So, you’re available today, taking me to meet Gabriele at the spa, and for the entire duration of my stay there, the maids will come in for their regular cleaning service.” “Precisely,” Maxwell answered in his impeccable British accent. “That’s sad. I may never get to see the people who work tirelessly to keep that massive house spotless.” Maxwell smiled as he navigated a busy intersection. “Perhaps so. But you must understand that

About thirty minutes later, she tilted her head to the side while gazing into the large mirror in her room. “Interesting,” she muttered. She’d never been a beach/poolside fan, even though she’d attended a couple of such occasions in the past (thanks to Gabriele, of course). Looking at the black-and-white Fendi swimwear she wore, Lola wondered why she never fancied such an outfit. It was basically a second, fashionable skin, considering how tight it felt. Regardless, its elasticity seemed to be limitless, making the swimwear rather comfortable while displaying every curve on her body. She styled her hair simply, straightening it out and dropping it over one shoulder. She wore a sun hat and threw on a lengthy mesh jacket, both carrying the same color and brand as the swimwear. Overall, the outfit looked presentable to Lola, making her nod her head subtly. “Got to hand it to Santiago,” she remarked as she twisted to inspect her rear. “He really knows his stuff. Probab

“Bonjour, monsieur Morales. It’s such an honor to be here.” Upstairs, Lola watched quietly from the window of her room as Santiago greeted a man just outside the front door with a firm handshake. She studied the stranger, noting his black, straight hair, caramel-toned skin, and an abundant dark beard. He had a red flannel shirt on, with a white T-shirt underneath, and plain, beige pants matched with a spotless pair of white sneakers. Large, black-rimmed glasses balanced on the bridge of his nose, looking more like a fashion statement than a medical aid. Though his French accent was clear and authentic, he looked anything but. He appeared more Indian, or South American. Lola assumed he must have roots from either continent, or even both. As the men entered through the front door, Lola threw on a royal-blue robe and slipped out of her room. She stopped at the summit of the staircase, continuing to observe the pair from behind polished wooden railings. Thankfully, they were

“The Robotics Department at Infinity Tech Industries has been involved in a very dedicated task for the last few months,” he began audibly. “Under the alias Synthetic Assistance and Feedback Engineering—otherwise known as SAFE—this program is devoted to restoring the lives of people who’ve been severely limited, in one way or the other, by injuries that hamper their way of life. From bio-mechanical limbs, to artificial organs, to synthetic skin made from bio-mesh… this project is directly connected with the medical community to provide the best replacements money can afford. As a man who understands the liabilities of devastatingly life-changing injuries, I view this project as a pivotal contribution to society. With technology, especially with Infinity Technology, we’re restoring the highest quality of life to those who think they’ve lost it.” “While making a shit-ton of money for ourselves!” Ezequiel finished, his shoulders rocking with laughter. As the other men als

Posted by her side, Santiago noticed Lola’s jaw hanging in surprise. He cleared his throat and gently squeezed her hand to get her attention. “Remember what I said about keeping up appearances, munéquita. You gotta look like you’re used to a place like this.” Lola paused her gawking and stared at Santiago like he’d completely lost his mind. “How do you get used to a sight like this?! This is insane generational wealth on steroids. I mean, that freaking chandelier is pure gold for heaven’s sake!” Santiago simply shrugged. “Perhaps your excitement is understandable. Still, when you’ve come across places like this all over the world countless times, you get used to it.” “Nah,” Lola shook her head vehemently. “Doesn’t matter how many times I walk into a building of this splendor, I’ll always be left dazed. Maybe it’s just the artist in me appreciating the beauty of craftsmanship.” “Maybe so,” Santiago replied, placing his hand softly on her lower back. “The ballro
