Alessio POV

They had been hiding, watching, for two days now. Waiting.

“Sir, something isn’t right.” Sebastian said.

“I know.” he said curtly.

They had watched the patrols go by all day yesterday, and today, not one single patrol. He didn’t need his Beta to tell him something that was obvious.

“They know we are coming. They are pulling their guards back, they are getting ready to fight.” Alessio told him.

“But how? How did they know we were coming?” Sebastian asked.

“I don’t know. Cut the fence, let’s go.” Alessio commanded.
