Diana couldn't help but stare into space as she awaited the arrival of either her brother or Howard. She was to be discharged from the hospital today and none of them were yet to show up. The man in her dreams didn't show up last night and that bothered and placed her on high alert. She couldn't even reply to Brittany's cheerful greetings and the latter didn't seem to mind. Diana was always in one mood or the other so she understood.

She was dressed in a plain white gown and Brittany had braided her hair into a fishbone braid. She wore a pair of low black pumps as she started moving around more on her own. Every part of her has healed physically except for her unreachable memories.

Suddenly the door opened to reveal her brother, the Alpha, dressed in a crisp black suit. His hair was brushed to the side of his blind eye to mask both his scar and his eye patch. Diana just noticed that they share many resemblances. They had the same brown hazel eyes but Diana's were flecked w
