Thelma’s POV

“Wake up!” The silent voices echoed into my ears repeatedly, memories came flashing into my head as I woke up panting heavily.

I cleaned the beads of sweat from my face as I stared at my surroundings, “Where’s this? Where am I?” I thought in confusion.

Sighting my clock alarm, I realized I was in my room and it’s just morning yet.

I breathed in a sigh of relief, I must have been thinking a lot which resulted to a bad dream. I stood up, my head banging in pain.

How long have I been asleep?

My thoughts were interrupted when Yvonne came in, “Thelma, you can’t believe what I just overheard?” I raised my brow in confusion. Why does this sound familiar, my body shook at the thought of it being a dejavu.

Then she repeated the gesture, the gesture from my dream and that was when it clicked. I remembered it all. The memories and the pains screaming deep into my soul.

“I am reborn!” I whispered in shock, I took the calender beside my bed checking the date, “Jan 5,2020.” I exclaimed in shock.

“Why are you acting like you saw a ghost? Did you have a bad nightmare?” Yvonne came to my side, her worried face plastered on her face as she caressed my body.

“Stop…” I said gently but she didn’t, “I said stop.” I had no idea when I shouted. It was disturbing but now I saw through her fake facade, their fake facade.

Remembering what she said and what they did, I bolted my fist hard, I was angry, I am determined to make them all pay for what they did.

I looked up to see her staring at me shocked then her face turned teary, “Did I do anything wrong sis? You just shouted at me? Or don’t you want me anymore?” She asked.

It was impossible, I pinched my arm hard which made me winced in pain, it was real, not a dream, I have been given a second chance.

My mind was in denial, I wished I could attack her right now but I breathed in, trying to control the anger fuel in me before faking a smile.

“Why not? I am sorry, I just… you know, had a very terrible dream.” I shrugged.

She nodded, I knew she wasn’t very convinced judging by her expression so I added, “You know you are the best sister in the world and I love you so much.” I pecked her on the cheek and she giggled.

She stood up excitedly, her smile bright on her face but I was empty, if it was before, I’ll have been filled with joy but now all I could see was a facade.

A pretense that they all had while trying to use me, lure me as a prey that can be discarded when they are done.

“Guess what?” I cleared my throat as her voice bought me back to reality. I still couldn’t come to terms that I had been reborn.

“What could that be?” I asked faking cluelessness, this was how she asked me to guess in the previous life, she informed me about how dad decided to pass down the Luna title to me and he’ll be making Neon the alpha.

She looked around before gesturing for me to move closer as she whispered into my ear, “I overheard dad saying he want to crown you the next Luna to be for the pack, he’ll announce Neon to be your alpha. Don’t you think that’s great.”

I gasped, covering my mouth with my hand , “A joke?” I asked, she nodded negatively. I jumped up happily, “I’m so happy, I knew he’ll come to accept Neon to be with me.”

“Yes, you know how much dad loves you…” She paused as though she remembered something, “Oh my God, I forgot I have extra lessons again, mom will surely kill me.” She exclaimed, I gestured for her to leave.

In the previous life, I stupidly thought she truly had extra lessons but I know she didn’t, she must have gone to meet up with Neon.

I realized I was really reborn, my eyes was clouded with tears, who could have thought the same people I trusted most in life and thought they would always defend me were the same people that’ll betray me and cause my death.

I balled my fist in anger, I could easily confront them but not now, I’m not bothered with them because I have somewhere to be.

Since I am being given a second chance, then I will make use of it with brain, get my revenge and make everyone who ever hurt me pays.

I remember in the previous life, I ignored my bad feelings and never suspected anyone.

I stood up fully hurriedly dressing up into a simple black pant and crop top, before wearing my jacket then walked outside going towards dad suite.

I got there in no time and carefully opened the door a little bit, i know base on the sharp instinct of we werewolves, it wouldn’t be long before they find out I’m there so I masked up my scent.

Mom voice was the first to come in, “What if she finds out about them? You know being a Luna gives her access to everything about the pack.”

I was confused, which them was she talking about? “And that’s why I wouldn’t be announcing her as the Luna, I’ll announce Neon as the alpha instead then announce her as his fiancé…” He paused. “It’s up to him when to get married to her and do the proper rite and crown her as the Luna which wouldn’t be happening.”

I wonder how someone could be so cruel to their own daughter without blinking an eye. To the pack, I’m the most loved daughter of my parents but from the beginning, they only taught me how to become a great Luna and how to protect the pack, they’ve never really showered me with care like they did to Yvonne.

I was confused, I couldn’t find anyone to answer my question no matter how many times I ask myself.

“We still have to be fast with it , she could find out she isn’t…”

“She will never. If it wasn’t because it’s only her blood that can open the pack’s core and make us the strongest pack, do you think I’ll ever have to make her the Luna to be when our Yvonne is there.”

I staggered backwards, my eyes teary, I still don’t understand, why exactly do they hate me enough to want me dead.

“After we killed her parents, who could have expected they’ve put up a guard against us by making their only offspring the only one to open the pack core energy.”

The new revelation made me gasped in shock, my body colliding with the door, “They are not my parents.”

That would explain my question but I still couldn’t believe it, all my life, the same people I called mom and dad were the people who killed my real parents.

My hands trembled with my lips shaking, I never would have imagine this, even though they never really showed me they loved me, but they have never given me a reason to doubt them.

I clutched on my hands on my mouth as I stepped back slowly, my tears rolling down my cheeks. Without looking back, I crashed into the flower that was placed just beside their room door alerting them.

“Oh no!” I exclaimed, my heart racing as they both approached me, what will I do now?

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter Sixty-nine: The much Longer

"Someone who's been playing a much longer game than any of you realized," Morrigan said. She stood up slowly, her ancient frame moving with careful deliberation. "Someone who's been waiting in the shadows since before you were born, Xavier. Someone who saw in Thorne a tool that might be useful. And when Thorne proved to be more obstacle than asset, someone who simply... adjusted their plans.""You're speaking in riddles," I said, frustration bleeding into my voice. "I don't have time for…""You don't have time for much longer, no," Morrigan agreed. "Which is why you need to understand what you're facing before you charge into battle. Before you make another decision you'll have to live with."She moved toward the garden entrance, and we followed."Sit with me," she said. "All of you. And I'll tell you about the one who made Thorne look like an amateur."We found a collection of stone benches near the garden's center, arranged around a dying fire. Morrigan moved toward them with the ce

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter Sixty-Eight: The Name

XAVIER'S POVThe infirmary fell silent after Thelma's revelation. Not the comfortable silence of two people drifting toward sleep, but the sharp, electric quiet of a threat hanging unspoken between us.I felt her shift against my chest, her breathing still uneven from crying. The bond thrummed with her exhaustion, but beneath it was something else. A low-level vibration of fear."Tell me again," I said quietly, not moving. "Everything you remember about the name. Don't try to piece it together logically, just describe the sensation. The feeling of the memory."Thelma was quiet for so long I thought she might have fallen asleep. Then: "Cold. The memory itself feels cold, like someone wrapped it in ice to preserve it. Or hide it.""That's not normal compulsion fragmentation," I said, thinking through what I knew about magic. Which, admittedly, wasn't much. "That's deliberate obfuscation.""Someone warded Gina's mind against revealing this name," Thelma said, and I heard the realization

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter sixty-seven: A Transparent Mind

THELMA'S POVThere was something deeply unsettling about Elder Morrigan.I'd looked into minds steeped in conspiracy. I'd read the thoughts of people planning murder and treason and revenge. But Morrigan was something else entirely. Her mind was a fortress, but not a hidden fortress. It was open, transparent, but so carefully organized that you could look right through it and still not understand what you were seeing. It was like being shown a map in a language you could recognize but not read."You're wondering why I'm not afraid of you," Morrigan said as we left the interrogation chamber. Xavier had excused himself to deal with other matters, leaving me alone with the Elder."The thought had crossed my mind," I admitted."Because I'm very old," Morrigan said, "and I've seen too many young wolves with power think that power meant wisdom. Thorne thought his magic made him untouchable. Gina thought her obedience made her invincible. And you…"She paused, studying me with eyes that were

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter sixty-six: The Panic

THELMA'S POVI felt Xavier's panic through the bond, felt him struggling against Gina's hold, and something in me broke. Not metaphorically. Literally fractured like glass. The threads of fate that I'd been holding so carefully snapped and rewove themselves. Silver light exploded outward from me, not healing light this time, but something raw and primal and absolutely uncontrolled.Every seer has a moment, I realized. A moment when they stop seeing the future and start making it.This was mine.I grabbed Gina's wrist. Didn't pull. Didn't twist. Just held her, and poured every ounce of power I'd been accumulating directly into her mind. The compulsion magic broke like a chain with a severed link.Xavier gasped, fell to his knees coughing. But he was free.Gina screamed. It was a sound of pure, unfiltered anguish. Her hand convulsed, and the compelled wolves, all fifty of them, suddenly reoriented themselves. But not toward us.Toward her."What did you do?" she choked out, her eyes wi

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter sixty-five: The Reckoning Begins

XAVIER'S POVThe compelled wolves flowed into the arena like a grey tide, their eyes empty and their movements synchronized. Fifty of them. Maybe more pouring in through the breach in the wall.I didn't move. Couldn't move, not yet. Every breath sent fresh agony through my chest. The wound was closed, but barely. Thelma's magic had stopped the bleeding, but it hadn't healed the deeper damage. My right lung still felt half-crushed. My shoulder was a symphony of broken things held together by stubbornness and spite."Xavier," Thelma's hand gripped my arm. "You need to get out of the arena. You're not—""I'm exactly where I need to be," I cut her off, keeping my voice low so only she could hear. "Gina didn't bring fifty wolves here to let me run."It was true. If I fled, she'd hunt me. Hunt us. Better to end this now, on ground I'd chosen, with the pack watching. The first wave of compelled wolves reached the arena floor. They moved with eerie silence, no snarling, no growls. Just the th

  • His Historical Luna   Chapter sixty-four: The Trial Begins

THELMA'S POV broke cold and merciless over the ancient trial grounds.I stood at the edge of the ceremonial arena, watching as pack members from across the territory filed into the stone amphitheater. Hundreds of them. Maybe thousands. All here to witness Xavier either triumph or die.The arena itself was a relic from before the Council, before organized pack politics. Just a circular pit of hard-packed earth surrounded by rising tiers of stone seats. Simple. Brutal. Perfect for what was about to happen."You're shaking," Clara said quietly beside me.I looked down at my hands. She was right. "I can see too many endings.""Which one is strongest?""The one where he almost dies." I wrapped my arms around myself. "The one where I have to watch him bleed before I can help."Clara's hand found my shoulder, squeezed. "He's the strongest wolf I've ever seen. And he has you. That's more than Aurelius has."But was it enough?I closed my eyes, reached for the threads again. They were clearer
