Author's Pov
Love, what was that? She never knew, she never experienced it in her whole life except for the love her family showered on her, but the one which she craved to experience by her partner never was granted to her, she had only one boyfriend her whole life, in her high school when she was pursuing her degree. He was a weird guy who seemed to be in love with her only until he proposed her, afterwards he started showing less and less interest.
Until she finally realised why he was with her. He belonged to a well settled family, one of the richest to be precise and she knew he wasn't after her title of being a storm but he was after her body. He made a bet with his friends to sleep with the girl who was rumored to have no boyfriend or night stands, she got to know it after Xander Storm, her father threatened to run his car over him if he hurt his daughter which made the little scary guy run away but on the day of their break up he confessed about the bet ruining her faith and belief in relationships.
Liliana never tried to get into another relationship, she badly wished to be recognized as just Liliana and not some conquest or a daughter and sister of Xander and Alexander Storm. That was the main reason why she started as an artist with her only first name Liliana. No one knew about her real identity except for her friends.
But today while fidgeting her fingers she felt a wave of worry and nervousness engulfing her as she stared at her face in the mirror. She never realised she could fall in love until he came in her life, she always thought it was just an attraction but after knowing him, spending time with him and getting so close to him she finally realised what she felt for him. She was badly in love with him.
Brushing her dark green dress, she smiled before getting out of the room, it was his favourite color, she was a bit nervous and sad that it wasn't him who initiated the confession but no worries, that ice cold proud man would find it hard to confess yet she wanted to try it. These feelings she had grown were too much, they had became too close and the last few days with him she was sure he shared the same feelings as her.
She walked towards his room, gulping down she raised her hand to knock but paused when it slightly went forward revealing a familiar back to her. Her body froze, her eyes widened steadily when the two familiar and most precious people to her were standing there glued to each other like they were waiting for this moment. The man she was in love with and the woman she considered her sister.
He was hugging her waist and pressing her hips against the table behind her as he played with her loose curl, "I told you I never lose a challenge," His familiar deep voice echoed in her ears like a sharp burning rod being shoved in them, for a second she wished for the man to be someone else but no it was him. She could never go wrong when it came to his voice.
The woman chuckled, before palming his shoulders, "Right, you won, I am jealous, extremely jealous and mad at you being with someone else," He smirked leaning his face closer to hers.
"Even if it cost you, your years long friendship?" Liliana felt several sharp knives being struck at her throat when her ten years long friend simply waved her hand rolling her eyes.
"She's just someone I prefer keeping beside me, ordinary face, body and no name of her own except for her father's, she is no match to me that's why I never minded her being my friend, but I do mind you going after her just to win the stupid challenge I offered." Liliana felt like a tub of cold water was shoved over her head, she felt a chill down her spine at her friend's cruel words.
She suddenly leaned closer to the man Liliana thought was her destiny before mumbling softly, "Tell me, you haven't fallen in love with her? You stayed with her longer than all the previous girls." This made the man laugh out loud as he shook his head like she had cracked a terrible joke.
"Love? And her? I only used her to get you back and see it worked!" And the strength in Lily's knees weakened, she closed her eyes feeling tears rapidly flowing on her cheeks.
All his affectionate words, those beautiful moments they spend together, the trust and love she had build thinking that she had finally found her charming Prince was actually the result of his lies. Their whole nameless relationship was build on his lies, her stupid assumptions and her naivety. For the first time in her life she actually accepted that her brother, mother and father were always right, she was naive, too easy to fool.
She learned the lesson the hard way.

Lily instantly burst out in heavy tears as she hugged her mother right away, she hadn't seen her mother cry this bitterly all these years, she was a strong woman yet after hearing about her daughter being in danger, she couldn't hold back her emotions. She was her one and only daughter, and thinking of anything happening to Lily simply cut open her heart. "Mom." She whispered between her sobs, Amelia sighed in relief rubbing her head. "It's ok, my princess, your brothers and father are handling everything, I am here with you and I won't leave you alone anymore." Author's POVFlashback A bucket of water was splashed on the man seated on the chair tied with ropes, he coughed finally gaining his senses back, Ivon hissed as he raised his head and met with the steely hazel eyes staring right in his red black ones with merciless frown."You went too far this time, Ivon." This was the first time Cyril took his name instead of calling him a child or a little boy. "You forced my hand, I had no choice left." Cyril sighed leaning his back against the chair he was seated on, he tilted his head before looking deeply at the bloody wounds on Ivon's face."And you have forced me to do this," Cyril mumbled raising his hand at Shawn motioning of something on which he nodded.Cyril never wanted to destroy the glamorous image Ivon had of his father in his mind especially after how his mother's reality was in front of him. He wanted to believe that at least one of his parents was a good person and his entire family wasn't rotten as Cyril claimed but the moment
Author's Pov Lily stumbled inside the room as Ivon dragged her struggling body from the venue, he loosened his tie and turned towards the door where both Ben and Lada were standing with satisfied smirks on their faces, he gave them a curt nod and locked the door. And just after a few minutes, sounds of something breaking followed by woman's cries started echoing, they both chuckled before leaving the spot, they knew Ivon just dug his own grave by falling in their trap. They were just waiting for Cyril to arrive and see the damage which was already done to his sweetheart. She was married, marked, and completely became someone else's, he was left with nothing but disappointment and pain just like in the past. The plan was simple for him,Marry her, and follow what his mother asked him to do.But the mere thought of laying his hands on her especially when he just wasn't using her to bring Cyril down instead, he actually was interested in her, he genuinely liked her and the mere thought of hurting her burns his insides with pre regret. Author's Pov"How is your work going?" Amelia, Lily's mother questioned making her sigh as she stared at her last painting which just needed a few last changes before she placed the paintbrush back on the table and looked blankly at nothing. "Mom," Her tiny whisper made Amy to straighten up as she knew the sudden change of her daughter's voice. "You'll be disappointed in me." She mumbled, and Amelia instantly understood the meaning behind her words, she sighed. Somewhere she expected this, that young man's determination and stubbornness to let her go made her suspect this a long time ago. "I want to forgive him, give us another chance, and I know I shouldn't." She dropped her eyes down like her mother was right in front of her imagining her sad disappointing sharp grey eyes staring at her."You're not a disappointment my princess, and nothing can ever disappoint us about you," her mother mumbled making her look up in surprise, she knew her mother loved her beyond anything but never
