Sera woke up alone in her bed. She sat up and looked out the window. The clouds were rolling in the sky, stretching languidly. Either it had rained or was about to. Pushing the cover aside, she got out of the bed and walked out onto her balcony. Her dry toes met the wet floor. Sure enough, it had rained.

She wrapped her fingers around the railing and gazed far into the woods. The soft breeze teased her as she recalled the last night. The warmth of his touch, the tenderness in the way he had held her. She thought he was mad at her, but she couldn't be more wrong. She asked him only once, and he stayed.

An unconscious smile curved her lips as she reached up and touched her hair. She still felt his fingers working their magic. He massaged her. She didn't think he had massaged anyone before. Or he had even bothered to comfort anyone, for that matter.

She retreated into her room to complete her morning ablutions.

Nate had already left for work.

Dyson’s doctor told her about a couple w

  • His Innocent Sera   Vows Of Love

Sera clutched on his biceps as he pushed deeper, his knuckles disappearing into her depths. With every stroke of his finger, she felt herself unraveling like petals of a blooming flower. The feel of his thick digits moving inside her numbed her to other thoughts. She pushed against his fingers, wanting more of him. She craved the whole of him. Every inch of his being. "Still not enough?" he breathed, grazing her insides with a slow, teasing stroke. She shook her head, unable to gather her thoughts or voice. This wasn't enough. She needed more. He sped up, ravaging her insides. She shivered uncontrollably, both pleasured and tormented by his assault. Her nails dug deep into his flesh, marking him as hers. "I want you," she managed to speak, looking him in his eyes. She wanted him inside her, giving her the pleasure that she sought so desperately. That was all Nate needed to hear. She had successfully unlocked the monster inside him. He picked her up and carried her to the couch. Sh

  • His Innocent Sera   Building Up

The meeting was in full swing when the door burst open. Nate’s brows drew together, irritation flashing in his eyes, until he saw who it was. The anger drained away, replaced by worry as his gaze landed on Sera. She was flustered, her eyes glossy, the curve of her lips turned downward. "Leave," he ordered, not taking his eyes off her. Somehow, Sera knew the command wasn’t meant for her. She stepped inside as his employees silently rose and exited the room. "What's wrong?" he asked, concern etched across his features. She rounded the table and settled herself on his lap. Nate’s arms instinctively circled her waist, adjusting her until she was comfortable against him. She met his gaze for a moment before leaning in, her lips brushing his. Nate froze, stunned, as she captured his lips. She nibbled on his soft lips, silently urging him to take the lead. The soft, insistent tug shattered his restraint. He parted his mouth, and the moment he did, the kiss turned wild, his hand sliding up

  • His Innocent Sera   Soothing Her

"Headache?" he asked, his voice low but steeped with care. She hummed weakly in response, too tired to even open her eyes.He shifted closer, his hand finding its way into her hair. His fingers sank into the soft strands, moving slowly, tenderly, as if trying to work the exhaustion out of her. Each stroke eased a bit of the tension from her face, her shoulders, until a soft sigh escaped her lips, a sound that made something in his chest loosen. He smiled. "Liking it?" he asked. She moaned in approval. Without another word, he guided her head onto his lap, his fingers diving back into her hair. He began to massage her scalp with slow, deliberate motions, his touch soothing. Her muscles melted under his care, and the faint furrow between her brows began to fade. He watched her silently, his thumb brushing along her temple."Who was the lunch?" she asked. Her voice soft and lazy as sleep had begun to draw her into its haze. "Very tasty," he replied. He loved everything she cooked. Se

  • His Innocent Sera   Hurtful Secrets

Even though Nate wanted to confront her and ask why she didn't tell him, he decided to be patient this time. He wouldn't tell her he knew. He would wait and see if she was going to tell him or not. She came down for dinner with Dyson. Nate looked up from his phone and met her gaze. She smiled, but he looked away. Sera's smile slipped, and confusion took over her features. He had fixed his stare on the screen of his phone as if ignoring her. 'Hi," she said as she settled down in her chair. "Hi," Nate answered non-committally while scrolling on his phone. She hadn't expected it, but his dismissive behaviour was hurting her. She upturned her plate as the maids came with dishes. They ate dinner in silence. As soon as Nate finished his dinner, he got up and left. Sera frowned. She couldn't help but feel he was ignoring her. He was acting odd. She jogged her brain in an attempt to understand the reason behind his strange behaviour. She wondered if she had done something wrong, b

  • His Innocent Sera   Secrets and Confessions

Sera turned around to find him standing at the doorway. Half of his face was concealed by shadow, but his eyes were visible to her. Those pools of grey mist, concealing a storm behind. They were locked on her with a profound, unrelenting intensity. She clenched her fists, feeling a thread of dread creeping along her spine. He walked in. The thud of his footsteps echoed in the space, cutting through the thick, suffocating silence. Sera retreated a step. "You.." she began, but trailed off, not sure how to proceed. Pictures of her were plastered across the walls, and every little thing she owned was treasured in small, velvety boxes, as if each item were a precious jewel. The revelation had knocked her off her feet. "Since when?" she asked, her voice trembling. The depth of his obsession with her knew no boundaries. Every detail of her life was here. From a child to a grown-up, he had documented every aspect of her existence here. Nate came to a halt before her. His eyes softened upo
