Waking up with the sheets stained and your pyjamas stained, isn't something one would wish for. I had to do a five minute laundry before going to take a shower. And yes, Luca never replied. So I am extremely pissed.
Walking out of the bathroom, I walk to my closet took out my granny panties, a big hoodie and sweatpants. I didn't even bother putting on a bra, I put on a bralette instead.
Looking in the mirror, I sighed loudly. Today was going to be very exciting.
*Note the sarcasm.*
I gather my hair in a rough bun and apply a little lip balm. Walking to the kitchen, I frown when I don't see anyone in there. No breakfast this morning, I guess.
Opening one of the cupboards, I take out a cereal before bringing out milk from the fridge.
I take out a bowl and spoon before turning the cereal into the bowl, not caring as most of it spilled out of th
"There you go," He says after I start to breathe normally. I look up only to be met with striking blue eyes and a soft smile. "Hey there" He says, hands still rubbing softly at my back. "Thank you" I say earnestly to him. "How di-" I was about to ask how he knew I was having a panic attack but was interrupted by Luca squatting down to pick me up in bridal style. I immediately start to struggle. He has no right to touch me after ignoring my existence for two days. "Get your hands off me Luca" I growl at him, hitting my hands on his chest. *More like brick wall* "Thanks man." His deep voice says to the Zeek, who practically just saved me. "Anytime bro, we all know how much of a dick Jake is." Zeek says to Luca, both of them still ignoring my struggles. He enters into the same class the 'Jake' was j
I was filled up, literally. No, not that type of 'filled up', I mean food. Since Luca decided that he didn't want to use his car today, and instead figured out that he wanted his bad boy bike, we had to stroll to the nearby park to eat our meal. And after that we chilled for a few minutes, since the lunch hour wasn't over yet, before we headed back to the school. Once we reach the almost deserted hallways of the school, I hear a loud voice behind us and I look back to see it was the same guy who saved me earlier on. "Hey, man," He say, giving Luca a bro-hug when he reached us. Looking at him now, I wasn't surprised at the ridiculous amount of tattoos he also had. He was an Inch or two shorter than Luca. With dark blonde hair, wearing a blue hoodie, shorts and sneakers. Another guy, standing suddenly appeared beside Zeek and
I step out of my doorstep this morning in a rush, as always after receiving a text from Luca that he was outside my house. My eyes almost came out of their sockets at what was parked at my driveway. A freaking truck. Luca has a freaking truck. As I walk to his truck, I slow down a bit, checking him out for a moment, soaking in his appearance. There he stood, leaning against his truck, tattoos and piercings. All mine. He's wearing a black hoodie(as always), I trail my eyes to his lower body and I'm met with black shorts which showed off the tattoos decorating his calf and legs, he topped everything off with a pair of black sneakers. Finally, I met his eyes and they already had a mischievous glint in them, making me roll my eyes. I reached his huge form leaning against his truck, giving him a hug and smiling into his chest when he wrapped his
As I walk out of the school's building, I hear my name being called behind me and I turn back only to be met with Jordan who was obviously trying to catch up with me. How fast do I walk tho? With these short legs of mine, I have to jog-walk beside Luca. Jordan finally reaches where I'm standing, whose cheeks tinted red, panting with exertion. "Hey Iris." He says, his lips stretching with a smile. Cute. "Hey Jordan, what's up?" I smile back, gripping the straps of my backpack tightly. "Uhmm, I was wondering if you'd be up to go to a little Cafe I know and study for our project..." He asks, and I purse my lips thinking about it for a minute, "It's a five minutes walk from here, I promise and it all depends on if you're willing to go today." He interjects immediately he sees the look on my face. "Uhh, sur
I wake up today with a bright smile on my face, thankfully it's still early. I walk to my closet to bring out a black sleeved shirt, a black ripped boyfriend jeans and a pair of matching black bra and panties. I step into the bathroom, put my dirty clothes in the hamper before sighing loudly. Two more days to go Iris, I sigh before going to grab another pad. Stepping out of the hot shower really became a real struggle, but soon I was out. Already rushing to dry myself off and apply body lotion. I put on my outfit, apply a little makeup which consisted of eyeliner and lipgloss before styling my curls in a high ponytail. I top my look today with a pair of black vans before picking up my phone to see two texts messages, one from Luca and the other from Tasha both saying they were going to come pick me up in fifteen minutes' time.
Soon enough, AP English arrives and I step into the class a few minutes before the teacher arrives. The first thing I see when I step into the classroom is a mop of wavy brown hair, focusing intently on a book on his desk. Jordan. As if sensing my gaze on him, he raises his head up from his book and sends me a wide smile as I walk over to him. Just as I walk closer to him, I hear snickers and giggles of girls around me, but I brush it off thinking they were probably laughing at something else. Because I was a nobody here. "Hey Jordan, I'm so so sorry for what happened last night." I rush out all in one breath. Grimacing at the memory of last night. "Luca is a bit of a hot head." He laughs nervously, "But I understand, I mean if I have a girlfriend as beautiful as you I'd get upset when I see her getting ice cream with some other guy." He lau
11 YEARS AGO, THANKSGIVING, 2010. I sat on my little chair close to my pink vanity mirror, looking at my Mama's reflection in the mirror, whose eyes are trained on my hair and whose hands work skillfully to get my thick curls done right. Most families were and are happy by this time, sitting on the dining chair, eating roasted turkey and any Thanksgiving dish of their choice, just like us. Mama's warm voice snaps me out of my thoughts. "All done baby, you look so beautiful." Her smooth voice says, wrapping around me like a warm blanket. I take time to admire her features, her skin brown like mine. Bryson took a little of Papa's skin which is a bit darker than that of Mama and I. My features are a mix of the both of them, my small nose, full lips and brown eyes from mama and my thick brows and dimples from my Dad. She k
I wake up immediately, with a few drops of perspiration on my face, my heart beating rapidly as if trying to come out of my chest. I wipe my palm over my forehead, my mind screaming for Bryson to be here with me right now. I needed Bryson. I walk downstairs to the kitchen to get a glass of cold water, before releasing that it was morning already. I go back to my room, hurriedly take a shower before dressing up and going back downstairs to make breakfast. I make for just myself since uncle Tyson isn't up yet. After that I decide to binge watch Power Book, catching up on all the episodes I missed. An hour later, uncle Tyson comes downstairs, "Good morning, Uncle Ty. Pancakes or scrambled eggs?" I ask, smiling widely at him, as I stand up to go to the kitchen. "Morning, Iris." He yawns, "Scrambled eggs pl
