Rayne’s POV

“Isaac called. He needs to speak to me and Summer together.” I told Elizabeth as I hung up my phone, I planned on calling him back when we were together. “You’d best hurry. They will go to bed soon”. She tells me.

It may have been a long time since I last spoke to Isaac, but I owe him. We all do. “You go, I will call her.” My mate tells me as she fights with our kids.

I ran to the palace as fast as I could. Isaac wouldn’t have called if it wasn’t urgent. He had never called before. Summer and her family were gathered around the table playing cards. I dashed over to her home. “I have just had a call from Isaac.” I tell them all. Summer looked concerned. “He needs to speak to us.” I told my sister.

“Call him back and put him on loudspeaker,” Nathan says. I know no one, especially Nathan and Dawson, has ever forgotten Isaac’s essential part in Summer’s rescue. Not to mention risking his life to save Jax.

I dialed his number. He answered straight away.
