Just Work

I didn't sleep well at all last night I tossed and turned with vivid images flashing throughout my mind as visions of Javier and another woman. Today Jade isn't as snarky as she was yesterday. Today she felt the pain of his actions her heart throbbing in pain. I know because my heart feels the bitterness. I awake at 4:30 am and jump in the shower ordering me up a uber to be to work I drag my feet and remember today is Jess's first day too. She wasn't up when I was leaving so I left her a note wishing her well on her first day in the corporate world.

I arrive at the front of my cottage and the uber is there and ready. I hop in and we start our trail. I stop at the coffee shop and grab myself a cappucino and a regular coffee with creams and sugars, after last night I will need all the caffeine for today to survive. I arrive at the office early like always beating everyone to work riding the lift to the fortieth floor. I exit and make my way to my new office but it's locked I di
