The rain was pelting down so hard, Mia wrapped her coat tighter around her skinny body. Dragging the suitcase from the backseat and reaching for the shopping she had just bought, she locked the car up and made her way to the hotel. The sun was shining the next morning when Mia woke up from her well needed sleep. She yawned and stretched her body out in the double bed. It felt so good to sleep in a comfortable bed with clean sheets. It took a few moments for her to realise where she was and then she smiled to herself. Pulling the covers off her, she went to the toilet, washed her hands and stared at her reflection in the mirror. Grabbing her toothbrush she brushed her teeth and then decided what to wear for the day. She chose a pair of black leggings, white top and her old black trainers. Mia felt a little shy when Cherry pulled her into the garden where five of her friends were already in the pool. Loud screeches of laughter and splashing water filled Mia’s ears. One of the girls spotted them and jumped out of the sun lounger. She squealed with excitement and hugged Cherry. “Hey Selene. This is Mia. She’s the one I was telling you about.” Cherry introduced Mia and gave her friend a knowing look. Selene looked confused for a slight second then realisation dawned on her. “Oh yea, well hi Mia. Alpha Jacob slammed the rogue across the clearing causing him to smack into a big oak tree. The impact killed him instantly. “Damn rogues!” Jacob thundered as he made sure that they were all dead.
