IVY

I could never have expected that dare. Me? Kiss someone. Oh no, this had gone overboard.

"You're wasting time Ivy." Lalisa sang in my ears. I could see the flirty mischief in her eyes and I was nearly tempted to laugh at it. She had done that on purpose, a fast joke on me, and I smiled.

"I don't think Ivy is interested in things like that." Cassian hurriedly said. "She just came here to have fun, or don't you think..."

"Yes, Lucian agreed," nodding his head. "She hadn't even been in the

Stella's POVThe Doctor fell, and he didn't waste time while at it. The entire process brought a smile to my face, and a pleasant feeling in the centre of my chest. Like an unstrung sack of beans, he fell to his knees, which led to my toes, crying for mercy and pliancy. "Lady Stella, please," he cried while I crossed my legs and lit a cigarette. "Your demand is quite heavy. Alpha Lorenzo is strong and ruthless. I can't just kill his son.”"I am asking you to kill a fetus Malcolm, not a baby. Luna Haley has been pregnant for close to 10 months now and they know that is not right. In fact, I'll be putting her out of her misery if the baby just vanishes.” The tall, scrawny vulture-looking man went silent with different thoughts clouding his face. We have never had a relationship, but my mother used to work in this hospital when I was going home and she was once made the matron. Working side by side with this man. Revenge they say, is a satisfying medicine, but what would be sweeter t

  • His Luna His Queen    Chapter 30

Hayley's POV I didn't remember booking an appointment with the Doctor, but I left the servant's quarters and headed to the hallway. My last conversation with the doctor had not panned out well. I meant, I was yet to find remedies to my problems and heaven knows what more problems he would discover today. "Lunar Hayley,” the doctor rose to his feet the instant he saw me. "It is a pleasure to have you.” "Of course," I waved my hand dismissively and took a seat across the room, facing him directly. I don't know what I was just feeling nervous, but Dr Malcolm seemed to have aged more within the 48 hours we met. He was thinner, his brown suit barely able to hang onto his scrawny shoulders. His hair was ruffled, tangled, and unkempt. His grey beard was unshaven, and his eyes were dark around the corners. I leaned into the chair and took a closer look at the infamous doctor. All didn't seem well with him. I could tell from the way his breath came out in short, forcful rasps. With his eye

  • His Luna His Queen    Chapter 29

Hayley's POV Fiyero's calls echoed in the back of my mind, each one louder than the last, filled with an urgency that suggested death and chaos. But, I couldn't bring myself to look back and lend him an ear. Not when my marriage was being threatened, not when I was likely to be carrying a fossilised fetus in my womb. I quickened my steps, climbing the stairs as quickly as I could. I left the pretty maidservant in my bedroom to decode the contents of the ancient text of Fenir and Solmara. Since she seemed really good with the ancient language, I believed she would have covered a great deal in my absence. I would gain more knowledge of the Last Prophecy. I was excited at this prospect, sprinting to my room and pulling the door open. The room was the way I left it. The books were on the table, a fresh sheet of paper lying beside them, but there was no girl.I was shocked at first, but then I saw that this new sheet of paper bore some strange handwriting. Instinctively, I picked it up

Lorenzo's POVI was close to shifting. I could feel the rage in my wolf and the sudden energy radiating through my veins. I didn't need to look around. Golf Palace was already empty. No one would dare to witness a fight between two giant Alpha Wolves. Not even Damon, who stood at the entrance of the club, fidgety, waiting for the right time to escape. But I didn't let that happen. I couldn't. Not when I'd actually started the fight. Or when Lucian was looking to make a fool of me. The little ruby wasn't worth an iota of my attention, much less my wrath.“Let's get out of here Damon,” I finally said, letting out a long stream of breath to release my anger. “I shouldn't wreck a million-dollar investment because of a loser.”“Is that true Enzo?” Lucian scoffed, “Because from the looks of things, you're the scared one. In fact, your life is centred around fear. You're afraid to lose your kingdom, your wife, your business and then your stupid and weak wolf. I'm no match for you, Enzo, and

  • His Luna His Queen    Chapter 27

Stella's POV I watched Fiyero crash into one of the chairs in the council room, and bury his head between his palms. He was not only sullen, but he was frustrated, even discouraged. I couldn't name my happiness. It was one of those moments I felt my head swell with pride. First I got rid of the Luna's Crest, dashing Hayley's hope of a stable rule, now his alliance with Hayley had been dissolved, and now... The Doctor! Dr Malcolm, that vulture-looking old hag. Yes, Hayley mentioned having an appointment with him. He had been in the service for the pack long before Lorenzo was born. He was good at his field, holding the record for the most impossible surgeries done. I hated that, I hated him. As soon as I heard Hayley close the door of her suit, I slipped out of my Hiding place and dashed after him, calling out his name as he approached his car.“Mr Romano! Can I please talk to you for a minute?”Fiyero heard my voice
