Sabrina's POV

“But Daddy, I am scared,” Sophie whines to Ted at breakfast. “Tony keeps the scary away.”

I see Tony puff out his chest in pride. “I am the future Beta, I have to keep the Princess Safe.”

“In her bedroom, she is perfectly safe,” Ted tells them as I bite my lips to keep from laughing.

“Yes, sir, because I keep her safe, I sleep there every night,” Tony tells us.

“What do you mean every night?” Betty asks, looking at her son.

“Every night, I go up and sleep next to Sophie. She needs me,” Tony declares.

“A guard will be posted outside Sophie’s door. He will keep her safe from now on,” Ted declares.

“They better stay outside the door,” I hear Tony grumble.

“Boss, it’s time. Her parents have said their good-byes and made their peace,” Bill tells us.
