Ada Steele:-
My heart stopped. I was unable to move, unable to breathe, and unable to think. I could not believe what my eyes were seeing, and my blood turned cold looking at the two mutilated souls chained and pulled like criminals across the concrete. Their faces were all bruised and patched up, yet I could make them out. I could tell myself in them.
"No. No, no, no." I could only shake with an effort to thrust at the chair, but the wolfsbane tore like acid on my flesh. I tried to talk, but my voice broke. "No, no, no, that, -can't- be true. My parents have passed away! They are dead. I am an orphan!"
Alaric had leaned beside me, smugness reeking in his voice. "Oh, yes, it is. Shocked, little omega? You thought you were born to serve tables and wash training mats, did you?” He grinned and squatted down in front of my chair. "You were made to reign, Ada. You were the daughter of the powerful, the heir to the most powerful pack of the northern territories. Until we stole it all.”
My eyes were fixed on the woman, who was my mother; she was pulling her head up with all the strength left in her body. Her voice shook, and her lips were trembling. "Ada… baby…"
The hot tears were running down my cheeks. “No… You... you were killed. You were killed in the attack on the pack.”
Magnus Whitmore, father of Alaric, intervened as usual, condescendingly calm. "That is what we led you to believe. Your parents were worth too much to be murdered. We slowly poisoned them, therefore. Hid them away. Silent. And brought you up like the dutiful nobody you have been trained to think you were.”
The treason fell as a fresh blow to the back of my head. I glanced around, my eyes moving, face to face. Warriors. Elders. Council members. Each one of them had smiled at me, trained me, sheltered me, and raised me.
"Why? Why did you all do this to me?" I asked, between sobs, "I trusted all of you, thought of you as my family."
"We didn't ask you to trust us." Beta Dorian spoke with a bitter laugh, "You were a naive fool who refused to see the truth that was always in front of your eyes."
"I never thought of you as my anything, you bitch!" Kimberly, my mate’s sister, the one I am betrayed with, approached and landed a hard skull crushing punch on my face, breaking my nose, and made it bleed, "I wanted to kill you every time I watched you close to Alaric, but I couldn't because I promised Alaric to help him get the throne and unlock the power to be invincible and immortal that you possess, or possessed since Alaric sucked them out of you during the mating ceremony, the moment he marked and fully mated with you."
"Wha...What do you mean by that?" I asked, confused, and looked at Alaric with tears in my eyes, "I loved you, Alaric. You are my mate. How could you, out of everyone, do this to me?"
"About that, I was never your mate, little omega," he spoke, his voice laced with nothing but evil and venom as he went on. "You were never my mate, Ada. All this time, I had you under my spell, to make you believe that you were my mate, so I could achieve my goal of becoming the invincible and immortal alpha ever alive in history."
"I am not your mate?" I asked, shocked, and glanced over at my parents who were kept on the point of a dagger, ready to be killed any second if I tried to make a wrong move, "If I am not your mate? Then who is?"
"I am," Kimberly announced proudly as she stepped forward and kissed Alaric in front of everyone, and grinned at me, "So, you see, he never cheated on you, since he wasn't yours in the first place. It was I who was sharing my mate with you so that I could get the position of his Luna, but that was only possible after Alaric became the true alpha of this pack and took over, after mating with you, sucking the blood out of you, and killing you."
“But…but, how can you be his mate? You’re his sister?” I asked, confused, when she laughed, so did everyone as Alaric spoke.
“About that, it’s another part of the lie we made you believe, Kimberly here, had never been my sister, but my fated mate from the beginning. I just needed a reason to keep her close to me, and close to you, so she can spy on you for me, and give me all the details about you.”
“Wha…What?” I couldn’t believe what I heard. So, he wasn’t having an incestuous relationship with his sister, but with his mate. But if she is his mate, then whose mate am I? Who is my mate?
"Everything is done, except for the one part." Nyla Whitmore, Alaric's mother, spoke for the first time, "Your death is necessary because as long as you are alive, Alaric can never be at his full potential since his power would be locked with yours, which is why you have to die."
The moment she finished speaking, she stabbed me in the shoulder with the soul-killing dagger, slowly sucking the source of strength and life out of me, while I screamed and howled out in pain, along with my wolf, who was struggling to take over and shift to protect me, and kill all these monsters present in the room.
"No, don't you dare touch her!" my father, Alexander Steele growled and with the left over strength in his body, tried to push away everyone to reach and protect me, when Alaric pulled the dagger out of my shoulder and pierced it right in front for my father's chest, killing him on the spot.
"No!!!" I screamed out when I saw the life leave my father's eyes, and his body fall on the cold floor.
"No... no... no!" my mother cried and screamed when she saw her mate die. I had barely recovered from the shock and pain of my father's death when Kimberly stabbed in the middle of my mother's throat and laughed, enjoying how my mother's blood splattered all over her and on the floor before her soul left her body.
"I am going to kill you all." I don't know where I get the strength from all of a sudden, but I managed to break free from the chair and shift into my giant golden wolf, with fur as soft as silk, a golden crest on my shoulder glowing in the dim light of the warehouse and sparkling like magic.
I lunged at Kimberly to kill him when Alaric shifted into his wolf, a giant black wolf with red eyes and fire in his eyes. He bit my neck and broke my rib before he signaled Kimberly to stab me with the dagger right into my chest.
The knife, plated with silver, tore through the meat of my chest with a godless crack, and the volume of its silence was a thunderclap that vibrated in all my nerves. The dagger had plunged itself directly over my heart, blazing hot as red-hot iron. A primal scream burst through me, ripping open rawness due to the pain as the golden wolf's features quivered, and I fell to the floor with a heavy thud.
The world went on a skew. I could feel my lungs burning as I gasped, unable to focus my vision in or out, blurred red and black bleeding into my vision. My wolf Kitara was fighting to keep me awake, but she was going swiftly as I once again began to transform into a human, and lay on the floor.
"This wouldn't have happened if you had submitted to me, instead of attacking." Alaric spoke for the last time, looking into my eyes, "And, by the way, I never loved you. I hated every second with you."
"Light the warehouse on fire. Burn her!" Magnus ordered his warriors, as I watched every one of them leave one by one after lighting the warehouse on fire. I watched Alaric and Kimberly wave me goodbye before they stepped out of the warehouse, leaving me to die as I took my final breath. During those final breaths, I glanced at the moon one last time through the window and prayed to the moon goddess.
"Moon goddess, if you are there, you know I have always believed in you....had faith in you....and today as I take my last breath, I request you to give me one more life so I can....take my revenge on them and make every single one of them pay." I requested with trembling lips, my eyes closing.
"Ada! No....No, Noooo!" all of a sudden I heard a deep masculine voice of man, and barely managed to turn my head around to saw the shadowy figure through the flames of fire, struggling to reach for me, "Ada, where are you... Ada...." all of a sudden that voice was silenced by another figure coming from behind, and ripping the heart out of that figure's chest.
"Mateeeee!!" That was the last word I heard out of that man's mouth before he died, so did I as my vision darkened and I gave in to death with one thought in my mind.
Taking revenge and getting everything back that belongs to me.
Ada Steele:-The packhouse courtyard was shrouded by the night sky, with stars shining above the sea of jubilation. Golden lanterns dangled at long poles, and then flared in warm glances about the muster-pack. All was clothed in magnificence. Silk-draped tables. Flower-laced pillars. And right at the center of it all, the platform, on which the Luna of the future Alpha was to be presented. That Luna was me.The dress, of the same deep wine velvet as on the night the first time this had happened to me in my later life, adhered to my body in an agonized reminder. My thumb and fingers were intertwined like a lock of hair, and I could feel myself slipping into the well-woven web of the lie I was entering. I gazed before me, pretending to wonder and amazement, though every disclosure weighed me down.Alaric stood in the middle of the courtyard, his arms crossed and his face calm and self-assured. He kept his eyes upon me to the end, as if he thought he was getting the best of it at last. T
Ada Steele:-With a wild gasp of repulsion, I awoke, my hand darting to my chest where a moment before the dagger had struck through my heart, or rather what had seemed a moment. It felt as though my lungs were burning, my throat was scorched, and I was gazing with wide-open eyes at the gentle morning light pouring in the usual transparent curtains. My heart was beating with great thudding, my bosom heaving up and down under violent gasps of breath, as I gazed around this small, humble room, formerly my own, in the packhouse. My room. But how?I grabbed hold of the sheets under me, and the cotton under my fingernails was warm and genuine. There was the odor of dew and pine and sunlight on the breeze that came in by the window, so devastatingly commonplace that it seemed a mockery. Heavy breath, mind racing, I surveyed all the nooks and crannies with the space I had not imagined would ever get a chance to see again."I died," I murmured. “I died… They pierced me. They burned me up…”Me

Ada Steele:-"What the fucking hell is going on over here?!"I shrieked out, holding my breath in a paroxysm of anger and agony, at a standstill in the doorway. The vision that lay before me was a blow to the chest that I did not see coming. In front of me, my mate Alpha Alaric Whitmore was lying naked, buried deep inside his own sister, having an incestuous relationship, right after he mated with me an hour ago. I passed out after Alaric exhausted me after our mating ceremony, but when I woke up an hour later, I didn't find him, so I stepped out of the room in search of him, only to see him on my best friend's bed in the packhouse. They were utterly, entirely, fucking each other like I seemed never to have existed."You lying, cheating asshole! How could you do this to me? Just after our mating ceremony? Why?!" I demanded. “Especially with your own sister? You disgusting animal!”Alaric stiffened, hearing my voice, his lips all of a sudden went still against Kimberly's. With a steady
