Orla POV

I could sense the power binding Willow. It was of a coven strength.

I knew exactly which coven.

I had arrived here later than expected. I had been visiting my witchcraft links to strengthen alliances and gather information.

She was younger than I expected and judging by her running, in a lover’s tiff. Lugh had done well with his protection spell…but judging by his face when Willow hit the barrier, he didn’t expect quite the reaction it caused.

He seemed to care for this girl. He hadn’t been the same since we left our original coven and I worried I was taking him down a path he shouldn’t be following.

The Alpha Wolf picked his mate up and raced back to the house placing her upstairs on the bed.

“Help her, she can’t heal.” He looks to Lugh with panic in his eyes. Lugh whispers an incantation that allows wounds to heal faster. I raise an eyebrow to him and he scowls at me.
