Rio stood up from the table, he abandoned the family dinner they had all come out forHis mother had called out to him but he turned a deaf ear to her calls.He rushed out of the restaurant like he had seen a ghost. Anita walked back home, she had gotten tired of her stay at the hospital. She walked through the streets that led to her apartment. She walked home with a blank mind feeling nothing at all.Mimie laid on Anita’s all covered with a blanket she had dragged from the bed. She had been worried about how Anita had run out from the restaurant, she knew things weren’t going to end hence she had advised Anita not to approach Rio at the table. She had contemplated calling her but she killed the idea as she thought of it.She felt a little bit of guilt in her chest, she had suggested Anita’s coming to the restaurant to see things for herself.She had tried hard to stop her from going in but all she did proved abortive..She hissed as she remembered the treatment she got from Rio, he pushed her like she was a nobody. She was so sure he wouldn’t have treated his daughter whom he harbored hate for the way he treated her. She couldn’t bring herself to understand that Rio wasn’t interested in her.

The smell of food woke Mimie, she quickly jumped out of bed and walked straight to the kitchen. Rio got down from the car and walked into the house. His endless search for Anita had taken the better part of him, he looked exhausted and dejected.He cites his mother as he enters the house, he’s already prepared for her long unending talks. Mimie laid on her bed still in thoughts of how to get Rio to herself, she had always dreamed of the day he would be finally hers.She had come up with beautiful ideas that would make Rio hers but the opportunity to execute them never presented itself.
