Richard’s POVVanessa said yes! She was ready to be coronated with me as the Queen. Even though it took much persuasion and begging and arguments, she still ended up saying yes. I was thrilled and grateful she had said yes.I watched as my whole family prepare for the coronation day, different clothes were brought in and Vanessa was getting too tired from picking a cloth for herself and also for Racheal from the thousands of clothes being brought to our place.

Richard’s POVThe next morning came just like every other day, normal and nothing unusual other than the fact that I got to wake up to a beautiful face.After taking a shower and having my breakfast with mom, Vanessa and our daughter, I made my way to dad’s office that was in town.He was in the middle of a press conference when I got there.

Richard’s POV We arrived at the Palace few days after and we were welcomed by my mom, dad and other important royal cabinet members. My mom couldn’t stop gushing about Vanessa and her grandchild. I knew how much it was difficult for her to accept that the relationship between her and I might change after my biological mother had surfaced, still I didn’t let it bother me.We were eating at the dining table when one of my uncles started up a conversation that he couldn’t finish. “When are you going to meet up with your mother Richard?” Uncle Thomas was a distant relative. He was more of dad’s childhood friend than family. Richard’s POV Two hours after my mom left, I still couldn’t get over her revelation. It was shocking and I was surprised. Finding out that I have a brother somewhere in the world was a strange feeling. I’ve always known myself as a single child and I don’t even know how to feel right now. Mom said I was a product of my father’s extra marital affair, that I knew about but having a brother was not the type of package I was ready to accept. I felt withdrawn from Vanessa and Racheal all of a sudden, it was as if a cold bucket of water was poured all over me. I had rejected myself to the chair placed in my kitchen. Thinking back and forth about what I should do. Should I call this my so called brother and ask him about our mother? Can I even call her mother? Yes! Richard’s POVVanessa was discharged from the hospital and I couldn’t be anymore grateful that nothing happened to her. We were both in the house when mom came visiting hoping to have some time with her granddaughter.Mom was smitten with Racheal and I couldn’t help but smile at the thought. Who wouldn’t love that angel though? Nobody I guess.After making me attend a tea party yesterday and also this morning, I realized that what a daughter wants, a daughter gets. Being a father is still a new feeling for me and I’m praying I don’t mess things up before she could turn into an adult. ******Vanessa’s POV After I had woken up at the hospital, it took me more than enough minutes to try and decipher my location. My brain was in a haze and I had to pause the different thoughts in my head for a moment before it finally dawned on me that I was in the hospital. I tried standing up from the bed and resting my back against the head of the bed before I watch the Queen walk out of the bathroom with my daughter in her arms.I was mesmerized for a moment. I never knew Richard’s mom would care this much. I actually thought she was this stone cold, witch from the North of a cold region. Maybe people really do change and I hope this change is something that’ll be of benefit. Seeing my daughter again was the best thing that had ever happened to me and I’m really glad to be able to see her and grateful that I didn’t die in the arms of Dae and her friend from something I knew nothing about.
