Chapter 14 edit

I stir in my sleep when I smell the comforting and mouthwatering aroma of bacon pleasantly awakening me from my slumber. I sit up to Jackson not being in the room, the door was left open, and the curtains were drawn so the sunlight would brighten up the room with its joyful golden rays. I look at the time on the nightstand, it read ten thirty.

I sit up on the bed, still feeling groggy from how late we slept at night, but it was better sleep than I’ve had in the last few days. I rub the sleep out of my eyes and take a deep slow breath.

My time is up. I have to act now. But how would I do it? I don’t really have a plan that would work in my favor. Knowing how Jackson has been from all of this stress with the rogues, I’d doubt that he would let me set foot out of the house anymore. But one thing for sure is that I am not going to reject him as my mate.
