I was all alone in the same meadow field that was in my previous visions. I was self-aware of this being a dream now, although I hadn’t dreamt of this in a while. But something about this time feels calm and relieving.
I don’t know what drives my mind to it, but I immediately start running into the woods. Heading in the same direction as many times before as if it was burned into my memory.
I make it to the sport that has given me terror and anxiety. And boy has it changed for the better.
What used to be a dark void with an endless pit of darkness transformed into a spectacular and wonderous sight. Trees and mountains extending as far as the eye could see with the blue sky and fluffy clouds slowly guiding across with the soft breeze. It was alive with nature and good spirits. And the waterfall was finally visible a few feet away, looking like rushing crystals falling all the way down as it glistens with the sun.

Fate has a strange way of uniting two people. Love is a part of life in more ways than one. Whether if it's with the opposite sex or the same sex, it doesn't matter. Love is love. It's a mission. Some spend almost their entire lives to find the right person to love, while others don't have to search for long. It's all about that special connection two people feel towards one another. Nobody is perfect in a relationship, what matters is the effort and dedication both partners put into it that makes the bond strong and helps them grow together. And to love each other no matter the flaws or past. It took me a while to learn that when I met Jackson. After everything he and I went through in being together, we made it through together. I would I have never imagined that my life would turn out to be such a rollercoaster of action and intensity. I almost died numerous times for Christ sake, but I miraculously survived through it all. Two years have passed since the battle against Ian. And t
Lily's POV "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your pilot speaking. Just letting you all know that we have now arrived at Portland Oregon. Please remain in your seats till we've come to a full stop. Thank you for flying with us at Delta Airlines and have a good day." The pilot announces to everyone in the plane. I put my earbuds back in my ears to continue my playlist while I readjust myself in my seat after siting still in a four hour flight from Idaho. I was beyond tired, and my lower half was sore from the lack of leg space and little room to rest comfortably. Planes aren't the most comfortable places to sleep in when it's filled with people of all shapes and sizes. And don't get me started with all the whiney toddlers that kept some of us from napping to make the time go by quicker. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Lily Stephens and I'm twenty one years old. I recently graduated from University of Idaho with a degree in marketing and culture. I have been away from home for a
Lily's POV I stir in my sleep when the sunlight shines on my face. I groan as I shift my head from side to side, trying to get myself to wake up. I open my heavy eyes slowly, waiting until my vision became clear. My eyes flutter, trying to get used to the brightness of the sun that woke me up. My head throbbed in pain, most likely the hangover that I was told about after having a lot of drinks. Boy, this was painful, it felt like I was struck multiple times on the head. “Damn it-! My head.” I hiss as I groan in agony. “What the hell happened?” I sit up on the bed as I rub my head to ease the pain. Looking past the hangover, I realize the bed that was in wasn’t mine. My eyes pop wide open when I also realize that this wasn’t even my bedroom. I wasn’t going to lie; it was a very nice bedroom, like it was the master bedroom. Very big and spacious with cream-colored walls and white doors along with the window frames, it was very high-class. There wasn’t that much furniture in the room.
Lily's POV I wanted to wake up from this nightmare. I wanted someone to pinch me so I could wake up back in the plane or back in the house with my beloved family. But I suppose life wants me to suffer and to be scared for my life. I didn’t know what else to do. Alice, Chris, and I are backed against the wall surrounded by big scary wolves with Marcus standing there observing our actions with a smug look of satisfaction on his face. “Last chance you two, hand over the human and I just might let you two live.” He negotiates with a hint of sarcasm. Either way, it’s a loss for us. “Why don't you go fuck yourself Marcus.” Chris lowly growls, with his fists clenched so tightly you could see the veins popping out starting from the back of his hand all the way up to his forearm. "Because we're not going to hand Lily over to you, not while I'm still here." Though I couldn’t see Chris's face since I was behind him and Alice, but just the way he stands with his large stature and his chest ri
Hospitals are one of the places that I try to avoid at all costs. Though it is a safe place to heal and recover, it's also an eerie place that makes me uncomfortable thinking about people who weren't so lucky. I do feel fortunate that my case wasn't that serious. Jackson and I spent another hour with Dr. Torres running a few more tests on me. I follow directions in patience meanwhile Jackson sticks by my side in silence throughout the whole process, aside from answering to the Dr. of course. Soon after the tests were complete, Dr. Torres comes back in the private room with the results saying that "Well miss Stephens, the good news is that the drug substance is completely out of your system. So you're going to be fine". Jackson and I let out a sigh of relief, although he was more relieved than I was. The poor guy looked like he was being eaten up by his guilt from all this. "Well that's good to hear." I add. "However, due to how long you have been out for, the substance combined wi
It was a beautiful scene to behold. The sun shines it’s warm yellow rays with fluffy white clouds slowly passing by, the breeze refreshing me with it’s clean crisp air mixed with pine and freshly cut grass, and the birds singing as they go about their day like I was. It was so peaceful. I smile as I take it all in, leaning back on the white blanket that was set down on the grass. It was a calm meadow surrounded by forest, but the meadow was extended for miles, showing the mountains over yonder. I wasn’t sure why or how I got here, but all I knew was that I liked it, it felt like home. “Lily!” I look over to my younger sister calling out to me from a distance. “Nancy?” I lightly gasp in surprise. It wasn’t just her, my parents, my younger and older brother, my whole family was together, standing before the forest. They were all waving to me with big smiles on their faces. “Mom, dad, Zack, Cesar…” My voice breaks. I was emotional. Seeing their faces made my heart clench with joy,
Jackson's POV As I let out a long heavy sigh, I rub the temples of my head in frustration. I'm sitting at my desk in my study writing boring papers for boring Alpha responsibilities. Yes some people think that being the Alpha is great and all, but like I said it’s all responsibilities with the meetings, planning, protection, and paperwork between the other allied packs. So much planning, it really stresses a guy out. It was amazing how my father was able to manage such a responsibility all while being at war with Ian threatening the pack. I glance at my phone for the hundredth time, it was nearly five in the afternoon. Alice and Lily still haven't comeback yet. I tap my foot and my pen as I keep staring at the time slowly move. It was getting late. "Why isn't she back yet? She should be here by now!” My Dominance growls on in my head preventing me from working. He had been getting more and more restless by the hour. I mean, who could blame him? They have been gone for more almost
I stir in my sleep when I feel the bed shift. I turn to my side and continue my sweet slumber. But it was shortly enjoyed when I feel a hand on my arm and gently shake me. “Lily.” Jackson huskily whispers. “It’s time to get up.” I groan as I turn face down with the covers over my head. “I don’t wanna go today. Sleeping in.” “You have to get up baby. Alex and Chris are waiting for you at the grounds, and I have to get going. You said you’d commit.” He argues. He stands there at my side of the bed watching me groan and complain. “But my body is so tired and sore. Please don’t make me go Jackson.” I sleepily beg him. I don’t know how he can get up every day before the sunrise without feeling tired or looking like crap. I know if I didn’t get enough sleep, I’d end up looking like a withered zombie. I am not a morning person. “But it’s Friday. Just go today and you’ll have the rest of the weekend off.” He was very persistent. I know that I promised that I’d commit, but this was like a
