Chapter 13
It’s been two days now, which means that I’m just one day away from making the most difficult choice that would leave me heartbroken and devastated. I was running out of time, and I still had no idea what to do.
After coming home from the hospital that morning, I spent the whole day asleep and recovering since I was a bit sleep deprived. But there was no way that I would fully recover, not emotionally. I was exhausted over everything; I was emotionally torn up and depressed, looking like a lifeless ragdoll.
But I knew that I couldn’t keep wasting precious time here, every one’s life depends on it. I have to stand up for myself and figure a way out of this mess on my own.
I carefully plan my escape without raising any suspicion from Jackson or the others. Which is much harder to conduct than before when I would just sneak away when Jackson wasn’t around. But now, Jackson’s gone back to the way things were before. Overprotection phase once again.
