14. Realizations

The rest of the week flew by in a blur for me. The past life dreams had become so incredibly vivid that I found myself drinking even more than usual. I thought I could go back to wine since I was in the comfort of my home, but the past life dreams added a level of stress that I hadn't seen coming. I couldn't help but to wonder what the Alpha Prince made of them, though I would never ask. I found myself waking up most mornings aching for his touch that I had felt in those dreams, wondering if it were possible that the man I was now sharing my home with could actually make me feel as good and alive as I had felt during those dreams.

I knew, however, that parts of that life were missing. It seemed that the ancestors only felt it necessary to show us all of the good within that lifetime for the time being, but I knew that eventually the other shoe would drop and we would remember the tragedy and pain of that life as well. It's weird, having those incredibly vivid past life dreams.
