Meira was in class teaching her students when a junior student rushed in breathing heavily as if he’d run a marathon to give her the worst news a mother should probably never hear in her life.
“Jacob, what is it?”. Meira asked.
“Ma’am, you’re needed in the headmistress’ office. It’s about your son Gabriel.” Jacob replied.
Meira was stunned and didn’t know how to react at first until she got her bearing and dashed out of the class with Jacob following behind her.
She didn’t want to think about what could’ve happened to her son so she just cleared her mind waiting for another news – one that was probably a good one even though no news
