“So, let me get this straight, The Crone Goddess has put a temporal spell on this area so that time moves faster than normal?” Jamie said.

“That is right Princess, the time it takes for one normal day to pass in the normal world, three have passed here. It is so we can spend maximum time helping you.” Richard said.

They were both lying down on their backs in a wildflower meadow, looking at the God of Red Kites spiralling in the sky. It was a precious moment of rest for them both and they were enjoying the sun.

Jamie was three God months - or one mortal month - into her training. It had been hard at the start, especially that instant with Edward. He had apologised repeatedly and said he should not push her so far. He promised he would not do it again. Jamie accepted and her training had continued.

For the physical training, she could now able to run ten miles with ease. The first time she did it without stopping she placed her arms around Richards’s neck in joy
