Chapter 1
"Liliana" I hated the name, hated it deep down in me because it was wrong, it shouldn't exist, just like I shouldn't, but I guess not all of were giving the choice of wanting to be born in the first place. "Liliana Walker!" I groaned now, turning on my bed, I could tell the woman was standing over my bed, a deadly glare in her eyes and a baton in her face, I know deep down she'd want nothing more than whacking the air out of me, but due to certain reasons, she could not dare hitting her. There was silence in the room, and it began to irritate me, knowing she was over me and sat up, seeing my plantinum blonde curly hair dangling all over my face as she suddenly had an evil grin plastered on her face "Elsa is awake finally" I made a snort and began to take off my blanket, rolling off the bed and walking to the bathroom, slamming the door to atleast make a statement. I know that I have only five minutes to shower or she'd happily come barging in,

Chapter 3
I do not like Dana That was the first thing my mind registered as me and the person in question walked into the school. I am not even exactly sure why my brain was thinking that, but I guess it was partly because I had come to hate me and what I had been, while Dana seemed to have inherited it. All eyes were on her when we both walked in with her making a great effort of wiggling her butt and whip her constantly like some horse using his tail to swat away flies. One strand had gotten into her mouth when I told her to stop before she actually obeyed me. After the school, had of course, had their feel of the runway model strutting infront of them, their gaze turned to me, mean and evidently evil. 'What is she still doing here?' 'Queen of mean huh? How about Queen of Crazyville?' 'What would happen if I shoved her right now? She looks like she could break if I put alot of effort into it' For some reason, I was grat

Chapter 2
It was low at first. I could barely hear it, but I still could, at the same time. The song was so impossibly low, and yet I could still hear it. The keys of the piano sounded like it was feathers playing, so drift like and drowsy like I was taking a sip of alcohol and feeling myself drown in something and ty still afloat. It was soothing and slow, possibly a lullaby, and though it sounded so incredibly familiar, I could not actually figure out where. The sound kept me up all night. When I got down from the bed, I met Pops who was already dressed for work "Whoa, you look like a mess" A part of me grins at the fact were back to our usual normal state as I walk down the stairs "Six months and no make up or mirrors, I can definetely not remember how it works anymore" He smiles "You were always so forgetful" When I reach the floor where he is, I hug him, taking in his manly scent and aftershave, pulling away to stare at him

Chapter 4
Of course, Tyler and I had different classes, much to the disappointment of the little monster in me that rages when it's happy pill was not around, so it was really hard for me to even concentrate in class when everyone was either whispering something about how I suddenly had alot strength and how Tyler and I got cozy alone in the hall and all the teachers acted like we did not exist at that point. All in all, I tried to zip my lips and not say a word, or a smart reply, and just stayed on my own. Dana was of course sitted next to me, constantly doodling on her jotter while she passed some sort of note to Chaos and Fire who giggled sometimes at whatever she wrote and sent back a note too. Immediately it was time for recess, everyone began to rush outside while Dana applied her makeup again and here I am, wondering why I had never though it was disgusting about how she had seven layers of fake skin on her cheeks while she asked if I was coming. "I'd be

I sit next to Tyler on the table that had been for only popular people for as long as I can remember with Dana, who had her salad places infront of her and the twins, who were pressing their phones and giggling at only God knows what while Tyler ate his sandwich and I placed the puzzles together. The song. It was a lullaby my Mum had played for me when I was very young. This is shocking for me to remember as I can barely anything about her but this She had called it Starlight sonata. And it made no sense for me to be hearing it everywhere Especially in school. At the house, I have no good explanation for that but I knew Pops could not even tell what 'doh' was on a keyboard. The whole thing was definetely creeping me out and I felt like taking just one pill of aspirin but I was quite sure Pops has warned every possible pharmacy or shop to not sell anything to me that he could get himself. "Hey baby" I tur

Chapter 6
The eyes are the first thing I see while he stares down at me. I can barely breathe but he has a look on his face that I do not understand, he looks sort of blank, but I am scared. For some reason I can barely even look at his face. I am just shivering right down to my spine. And I don't think it's because he is towering over me. But because he had called me a name no one I knew called me currently. Except Mother. Suddenly, he tilts his head saying "I know you can talk Iana" As if this knocks me back to my senses, I suddenly scramble back into the house and shut the door, locking it with it's key as I hear him chuckle. "Iana, dear, this is unnecessary, being shy, is cute, but I like staring at your face. Especially when you sleep. Do you know you look like a rose waiting for the sun to rise with dew all over it making

The rest of it all happened in a blur.In colours, swirls and I could only hear the voices. Loud. Tiny. Arguing... "I thought she was already weaned from it" "She only suffered from a panic attack, to be exact. She has anxiety, I thought she would have told you" "We both know Lily would never say anything to me if I would possibly worry" I try to talk but my throat is dry and itchy. I feel a soft hand, extremely cold even though I can tell now that it was gloved, brush my face, still and quiet as Doc and Pops argue above me. "She's obviously still sick! Do we need her to go back? I can't... I can't leave her at home right now. Winter Lake isn't safe" I groan and try to look away but I feel the gloved hand brush away strands of hair on my face and say "Are y

Chapter 8
"Why not?" "What do you mean why not?" I ask, now standing up, taking a cupcake and walking around the room "He is a certified psycho! I mean who shows up at my door in the middle of the night claiming to have been sent by my dad and is being freakishly awkward and... Why are you looking at me like that?!" There is a smug smile on Pops face as he sits on the bed now, staring at me with a funny look in his eyes "You know, you once hated Tyler"I groan now "You can't be saying this" "I mean, I thought you'd forever hate him. He's not as bad as some boys, I know, but I don't like the guy, and you didn't too, and it was usually our thing, then all of a sudden, boom! You are dating him and you were even talking about having babies with the boy" I groan louder, using my fingers to rub my eyebrows "How can you sound so obviously jealous?" "I am not jealous Princess, it's just tha

Chapter 9
I stare at my reflection one more time and say "I look ridiculous" "Never say never my love" I roll my eyes, as I take in my reflection again. Painstakingly, I had forgotten how hugging this dress could be because of how it shows all my coat bone and suck parts to the wall as I was too thin to even be alive or not be believed to not have some sort of eating disorder while the back of it was made of rope like straps that started all the way from my waist to my back that had to be fixed into designated holes in an X like pattern. Leaving my back bare to the wind. Usually, I loved this dress for that some reason... Now, I just wanted it ripped into pieces and turned to a rag. "It's like freezing out Pops" I say as I see him try to fix the straps into their respective holes. He looks like some kid trying to learn how to t

Chapter 10
As we walk down the hall, I realise something new. There are candles designated at different sections, particularly next to paintings. Old paintings that seemed to have dated back to the 16th century. And I am thinking... What if I was right? What if he really was a vampire? I mean, I already got the cold hand part down and he reads minds... Do vampires read minds? Shut up subconscious. When we finally reach the end of the hall, I take in the breathtaking span of space that one could call a literal ball room in front of me. All around, the walls were made of glass, something I had shockingly never noticed, with the floor made of some sort of mosaic tile letting the light coming from outside reflect in it with the walls sky blue, chandeliers hanging from different parts of the
