Nightmare

Pia's POV

" Pia baby mum loves you so much" my mum said sweetly placing a sliver heart shaped locket with a smile on her face 

"Take Pia to her the safe chambers Ariel" my father ordered in a stern tone.

We walked down the hall to the Chambers "why is everyone worried and pale Ariel" I turned to Ariel expecting a reply from her.

" The gem hunters are raiding the palace and everyone lives is at stake so stay here quietly" she replied roaming her eyes around the hall. When we got to the chamber " please my princess don't come out it's dangerous, you will be safe here" she pulled me for a hug and ran out of the Chambers 

After a while I couldn't stay any longer worried about my mum and dad. I left the room and down the hall. I saw Killings and dead bodies and fightings. My eyes finally opened when I saw my father and huge and powerfull man that I assumed is the gem hunters leader. I was so confused because I don't know what our kingdom could have done to deserve this war, so I took some steps forward towards my father .

I was shocked to see my father at the mercy of the huge man with his huge sword. I watched as he stabbed my father in his chest with the sword.

"Daddy" I gasped and held my hand on my mouth. I got scared and walked backwards with my eyes that remain locked on the man that just murdered my dad. I tried to get away from him and landed on my butt.

I tried crawling to run away from him, his huge hand was already on my ankle dragging me closer to him. I was scared and I started screaming "let me go please".

But my words fell on deaf ears while he dragged me off the ground forcefully

I kept screaming and shouting "let me go" .

I felt someone shaking me and calling my name loudly. That's when I woke up all sweaty and with a tear stained face, I grabbed onto my locket tightly. I felt like I couldn't breathe

After taking few deep breaths, I looked at sirena. I could see concern and fear in her eyes "It's just a nightmare" she said patting my back.

"I am fine" I told her when she didn't move and I just wanted to be left alone with my thoughts, "take your time I will leave you to rest. Just call me if you need anything okay?" I nodded andshe left closing the door.

I stood by the window looking at the night sky trying to calm myself down when I couldn't stop thinking about our kingdom which am supposed to be the princess but it all changes after the attack on our kingdom. I feel like am loosing my parents over and over again. I rest my head slowly on my pillow after what seems like forever my eyes got heavy and I slept off

I woke up feeling grumpy because of the little sleep I had last night. I had a early bath which made me feel alot better and applied some lotion sirena bought for me. Sirena also brought some clothes along. I went to the closet and picked a round neck in and a red shirt with a blue jeans and my hair was up in a ponytail.

I went out of the room and down the stairs. I went to sirena who is preparing breakfast when I entered the kitchen, she greeted me cheerfully "good morning Pia" I smiled back at her and replied "morning sirena"

Sirena went silent for awhile and said "I have tried searching for a job for you but it since you have no experience of college or working be. I think you should start school then you can start thinking of living a normal life, what do you think about that?" She questioned confused about what my reply would be.

" That's great" I said smiling widely at least now I get to live my life the way i want and not in captive am so glad for how sirena is so nice and good to me. I hugged her tight and smiled and added "thank you for helping me sirena am definitely going to pay back" 

She just smiled and said "am going out for a bit, I will be back soon. If you need anything there is a phone on the glass table over there" she pointed at the room she called her reading room while showing me around the house yesterday. I simply nod and she left.

I was up before eight, I had a hot bath, I put on a black tank top, a light shirt and a black Jean, I let my hair down naturally and was ready at eight in the morning because today is the day am going to begin school. "I am really excited for my first day at the university" I smiled cheerfully at sirena.

"That's a good way to start a good day". Sirena replied smiling at my enthusiasm. "Let's get going I will drive you to school" 

 At quarter to nine we left the house in sirena mercedes. Sirena had different cars, her house is exclusive and she uses expensive things but she doesn't seems like a spoiled brat. 

By the time we strolled into the campus. It was almost time for my first lecture. So I bid my good bye to sirena. "Take care " I smiled and waved as she went her way and I went mine.
