Forty Eight

Lily's POV:

The talk with my grandparents had been pretty normal. I told them everything that had happened in the library. They were partly relieved and partly concerned.

"I'm going to stay with him." I had said.

They both had looked at me funnily as if they couldn't believe I was saying that. But in the end, they had accepted. So, here I was, back in the suite, sitting on the familiar couch and talking to Stella.

"You actually broke up with him when I told you not to?" She asked, probably frowning. Instead of accepting the fact that it's fine now, she was still stuck on that same spot. That's how she is.

"Sorta." I said apologetically.

I was probably expecting one of her long speeches.

"Never mind, who cares? The thing is I'm happy you both are fine. Do you know what that means?" She asked excitedly.

I was partly relieved that I got no lectures.

"What?" I asked curiously.

"We could go on double dates." She said, probably jumping.

I rolled my eyes pathetically. She sounded more excite
