Lily's POV

After that incident, Ace took me back home. To his apartment.

The whole ride back went on in complete silence. I clutched onto Ace's jacket around my shoulders, looking out of the window the entire ride.

The easy plans always turns out wrong at one point. Mine turned out pretty bad. Worse.

Thoughts kept on clouding my head.

Why were those two black clothed men after me? Why did my parents sign a contract with a gangleader? Who was that gangleader? What sort of excuse was I to make up this time in front of Ace?

I was very much aware of Ace glancing at me time to time.

I needed to figure out who's the gangleader.

When we reached the familiar Stone apartment, I internally breathed out a sigh of relief. After that horrifying encounter with those men, I was more than glad to be here.

I felt safe here.

The silence remained as we went inside. Once we were in the familiar suite, I shrugged off his jacket and placed it on the couch. My shirt was soaked and sticking all over my body

    Lily's POV:Beep...beep...beep.I tried opening my eyes but they were stuck. I tried moving my hand but it also wouldn't budge. I felt numb and weak and all my mind was screaming was to sleep. So, I gave away to sleep and everything went blank again.The next time I woke up, my eyes would still not open as if somebody had placed stones on them. I had already slept for I don't know how long. I didn't want to sleep anymore. It was like when you get that feeling of numbness when you wake up after sleeping so long.     Lily's POV:Once again the door opened with a loud bang as shadows came in inside. I was in the exact same spot, where I had been before, with eyes closed."Wasn't that odd, now?
