CHAPTER 14

They all sat for dinner and even then Aurora could feel the uneasiness in the atmosphere. They both tried to initiate a conversation with her and each other. She knows they both love her. She knows they both wanted her happiness and were forcing themselves to make her happy.

Ethan was bursting in rage when Aurora introduced Gabriel to him but when he saw the sparkle in her eyes and the happiness on her face. He didn't know what to feel. On one hand, he had his daughter's happiness and on the other, he had a man who could protect her against all odds. Ethan needed time to think about his decision again because nothing matters more than Aurora's happiness.

Anyhow, the dinner ended and Ethan was the first to stand up. He stretched his hand and Gabriel accepted it.

"It was nice meeting you, Mr James." He said, watching Gabriel with calculating eyes. Ethan glanced in Aurora's way and something shifted in his gaze.

"Drop your fiance to the door, Aurora. I have some important work to do."
